Tyler couldn't stop thinking about Josh.
It had been a week since he saw the guy, and Tyler was intrigued by him. He had treated Tyler as if he was just another average person. He didn't care if Tyler was the king around here; he even turned down Tyler's unspoken offer.
You would think that the brunette had been wounded by getting rejected, with his big ego and all, but it just made Tyler all the more amazed, all the more curious. Never in his entire life had he been turned down something. Tyler always got what he wanted, and he usually didn't have to fight for it.
"Tyler? Tyler!"
Tyler snapped out of his reverie, glancing at Audrey. "Uh, sorry, what was that?"
Audrey pursed her lips, obviously miffed by having to repeat herself, but did so anyways. "I said that I want the next two weeks off because I won't be able to come in next week or the week after that. I'm going away for the holidays."
"Oh, of course," Tyler waved her away.
Audrey nodded, taking the black binder from Tyler's hands (which he had been flipping through to just appear interested). "What's on your mind?"
Tyler frowned a little. "Excuse me?"
"What's got you so distracted?" Audrey raised an eyebrow. "Is it Jenna again?"
Tyler scoffed. "Christ, no. I wouldn't have even showed up today if it was Jenna."
"So who is it then?" Audrey tilted her head.
Tyler hesitated, but then remembered that Josh had said he was a friend of Audrey's. Perhaps she could assist him. "Well, you remember the party from last week?"
She nodded, leaning back in her office chair and crossing her legs.
"You know how you brought that man, Josh, with you?"
It was Audrey's turn to frown. However, she quickly schooled her expression into an impassive one. "Yes." She said, a little coldly. "What about him?"
"I can't get him off my mind," Tyler admitted, and instantly Audrey was standing up, taking her binders.
"No. You stay away from Josh, Tyler." Audrey shot Tyler a cold glare.
"Hear me out." Tyler stood up, reaching out to stop her.
"I've seen you break many hearts. You will not break Josh's. He gets attached too easily. I'll admit that I teased him a little about you, but it was teasing. Nothing serious. He's too wholesome for you."
"Listen to me," Tyler insisted. "I just want to meet up. I want to get to know him better."
"Even if I were to contact him for you, Josh has something against men like you, okay?" Audrey turned and walked out, Tyler following close behind.
"Men like me?"
"Yes. Billionaires, big egos, the whole package."
Tyler scowled but stepped in front of his assistant to stop her. "C'mon, Audrey. It'll be like a date. I won't try anything."
Audrey stared at Tyler, expression undecipherable. "Josh isn't gonna be happy to see you. He expressed a lot of... annoyance towards you last week.
That only made Tyler all the more intrigued. "I can be a charming man if I put my mind to it."
"You're always a charming man," she rolled her eyes. "That's why he hates you."
Tyler chuckled, but placed his hands on Audrey's shoulders. "C'mon. Please."
Audrey groaned. "Fine. I'll text him. But if Josh comes back to me with so much as a hickey, I will skin you, Joseph."
Tyler grinned. "I won't do anything of that."
"Yeah, it's not like Josh would let you anyways," Audrey huffed, stepping to the side to get around Tyler and heading back to her office.

Josh apparently had a date. With a billionaire that he found most irritating right now. "You cannot be serious."
"He looked pretty serious to me."
"Audrey, you know how I feel about people like him." Josh groaned, running a hand through his hair.
"It's just a casual get-together. It's actually not even a date, according to him."
Josh sighed, going over to his closet and pulling out some skinny jeans and a grey shirt. "Fine."
Audrey sounded like she had wanted him to say no, but said, "Cool. I'll text you the details."
Josh ended the call, throwing the phone onto his bed. Honestly, the only reason Josh was going was to get it through Tyler Joseph's thick head that he wasn't interested. Josh pulled on the outfit he picked out, and then his phone buzzed.
Josh glanced at it, seeing it was a message from Audrey.
