So far, the date was going nicely. No more 'weird' incidents passed - Josh Jr. left and got comfortable again, if you were wondering - and Tyler actually behaved himself.

They'd finished their meal at the restaurant, and Tyler had suggested to go to the nearby park for a walk. The sun was close to setting, the sky painted in oranges and pinks.

"The sky looks beautiful," Josh observed, stopping to watch the colors.

Tyler looked up. "Yes, it does."

"I love sunsets." Josh smiled, studying the pretty hues painted across the sky.

"Why?" Tyler raised an eyebrow, glancing at Josh before turning to judge the canvas that was the sky.

"They're pretty." Josh said simply.

"That they are," Tyler agreed. "But I know something that's prettier."

"What?" Josh turned to steal a look at Tyler.

"This astonishing blue-haired guy that is stunningly gorgeous." Tyler answered, watching Josh's reaction.

A bright pink blossomed across Josh's cheeks, and he chuckled. He shoved Tyler playfully, rolling his eyes. "You're a dork."

Tyler grinned, taking a risk. "A dork that wouldn't mind having you in his bed any day."

Josh let out a deep breath, but humor still painted his face. "I'm not getting into your bed just because you're complimenting me, Mr. Joseph."

"Aw, man." Tyler pretended to be dispirited at the statement. "Well, at least I tried."

Josh laughed, and Tyler joined in for a second before stopping. He stared at Josh, and within a few seconds Josh's laugh trailed off, growing self-conscious. Tyler kept staring, with this soft smile on his face.

"What?" Josh asked, wondering if something was on his face.

"You have a beautiful laugh, Josh."

"So?" Audrey asked as she heard the door close, but kept her gaze on the TV. "How'd it go?"

Josh sighed, almost dreamily. "It went great."

Audrey almost snapped her neck with the speed she twisted around to look at Josh. "Wait... what? Are you being sarcastic?"

Josh blanked, giving her a confused look. "Uh, no. Why would I?"

"Well, 97% of your answers towards me are sarcastic, but you just said that your date with Tyler Joseph went great." She pointed out.

"Uh, yeah... I mean, it was okay." Josh shrugged, suddenly careless.

Audrey raised an eyebrow. "You're head over heels," she sighed.

"No, I'm not." Josh said defensively.

"Damn. It was one date." Audrey returned to her show, shaking her head.

"I don't like him!" Josh scowled, crossing his arms over his chest, not unlike a child.

Audrey popped another piece of candy into her mouth. "Remember what happened with Debby, Josh." She warned. "Don't rush it."

Josh's scowl deepened. "Like I would ever forget that," he snapped.

"I'm just saying that you can't push things. Tyler isn't one for boyfriends and girlfriends and all that; he's in it for the sex." Audrey alerted him.

Josh kept quiet for a second, gaze falling to the ground, before saying, "He said I had a beautiful laugh," in a hopeful tone.

Audrey closed her eyes and vowed to strangle Tyler when she got to work the next day. She stood up, exhaling with irritation towards her boss. "Okay, it's your choice," she said softly. "But just... keep your distance, Josh. You can't get too close to men like him."

Yes, Audrey joked about Josh and her boss getting together all the time, but she never meant it. She would just do it to tease Josh. The last thing she wanted was for Josh to get in another relationship where his affection was not returned. With the last ominous warning, Audrey turned off the TV and went to bed.

Josh stood there, before shaking his head, as if able to dispel the doubts Audrey had planted with that singular action. Josh then decided that he would give Tyler Joseph a chance; besides, if all went wrong, how much harm could one man do?
