Every Rose Has It's Thorn: Chapter Fourteen

The next day was wierd. No one had anything to say about there weekend witch was not normal at all. Somthing was going on. A layer of sadness was coming from my fellow students. I had no idea what this about. Normally everyone was up and buzzing talking to there friends or flirting with boys. Today was not good at all. It was Tuesday and everyone looked so pale and sad. Alyssa and Mia havn't been around from what i can tell and Xzander wasn't either. What was going on. This was not normal and I had to figure out what was going on.

As I walked down the hall on my way to my last pierod class. Meaning I would be with Xzander. That would make me feel better wouldn't it? It normally always did. God, i speak like we have been together for ages. Well thats what it felt like. He and I were getting closer and I didn't know if that was good or bad. He was amazing and I couldn't believe he was actually mine. I mean who could believe it?

"Rose." Her voice was soft, but I could here it from a mile away. I turned to meet the dark brown eyes of my best friend, well one of them anyway.

"Alyssa. Hey where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere. Where's Mia?" MIa was almost always with Alyssa. Some people actually thought they were twins. They couldprobably pull it off if they told people they were faternal. Alyssa's face turned even grimmer when I mentioned Mia.

"Somthing happened Rose, did you not here?" She asked her voice sad and confused. I shook my head. A bad feeling rose in my stomach.

"Did somthing happen to Mia, Alyssa?" I asked my voice low and worried. Somthing couldn't have happened to her. Alyssa or someone would have contacted me and told me. Alyssa looked about ready to cry.

"At first it wasn't Mia. It was Josh. We were at the party on Sunday and he calapsed right on the dnace floor. Mia was told he was going to be alright after the squad took him. He is not alright Rose. He's in a coma. Yesterday people found Mia in her bathroom with cuts on her wrists. She was almost dead. They are both at St. Claire's hospital right now. No one is allowed to see them at all." I was totally and completly shocked. Yesterday everything had been so normal and now Mia was acting to kill herself. Josh callapsed...oh gosh she was just so attached to him.

"Oh my.." My voice trailed off and my voice was shaking.

"Rose your shaking." Alyssa's was scared and her hand came out to touch my arm. I looked down and realized that I was shaking like it was below 0 inside actually they had the heaters on. "Rose?" Alyssa called my name, but I couldn't answer. My lips would move, but nothing would come out. Black botches started to come out through my eyesit. Stars began dancing infront of my eyes. The last thing was Alyssa screaming my name and everything went black.

BEEEEEP Loud and obnoctious beeping sounds aroused me from my deep dreamless. My eyesight was blurry when I first woke. The bed I was lying on was not the one at home. It was to hard and lumpy to be the one at home. My hand was gripping somthing. It was a hand.

"She's up!" That was my mother's voice. She sounded like she was right next to me. I turned my head, but before I could look straight I got a shark shooting pain through my head.

"Ouch." I said, my voice was nothing , but a whisper.

"Careful honey. You hit your head." It was my mum and dad.

"Mum? Where's Alyssa? Is she Alright? What about Mia?" Maybe it was all just a dream, but allI heard from my parents is silence. And that is never good.
