Jess' POV
I want to go to sleep and hope that I'll wake up and this would all just be a dream. Or I guess a nightmare. But I cannot, I am too worried and stressed. Although, the couch is surprisingly comfortable. It's just the cement walls covered with stains, that I can only assume is from blood, and the chain attaching me to the couch, that is not. Crowley said he would be back in a couple hours, and it has felt like more than a couple since he left. Who knows, I could actually be in some abandoned warehouse, and left here to die! I have to get out of here. I look down at the chain on my ankle, and my eyes follow it down to where it attaches to the couch. There was a hole drilled into the leg of the couch, that it went through. I move closer to it. Most couch legs just twist on, so maybe if I flipped the couch, I could just twist the leg off and when he comes back I will hide behind the door and make a run for it. Just as I start lifting the couch, the door unlocks. I quickly sit back down on the couch. Crowley walks in, and the door shuts behind him. He's holding a bag.
"Hungry?" He lifts up the bag as he says this. "I got you a burger." He sets it on the couch next to me, and sits on the chair again. I don't reply. We stare at each other, and I can tell that he hates my silence, so I decide to speak.
"Where's Sam and Dean?" He smirks at my question.
"They're off getting Dean the mark, so that he can kill Abaddon."
"What does the mark do?"
"The mark is the First Blade's source of power. They work together. Without it the blade is rendered useless."
"Okay. But what will it do to Dean?"
"Oh don't worry, he won't die. It won't let him."
"What?"
"The mark. It won't let him die. It will also give him an insatiable urge to kill." His words left me speachless. "Oh but don't worry, he won't kill you...Well actually he might." He smiled, like all of this was a game to him.
"Dean would never-"
"Oh but it he would. He's going to give in to that marks power. And when he does, he will be stronger, more powerful, and will kill anything or anyone that makes him even just slightly angry." The demon that was in here with Crowley when I first woke up earlier, came in and whispered something to Crowley. His expression changed. He look surprised. Why? He got up, and started to walk towards the door with the demon.
"Hey," I called out. "What's going on?" He didn't answer, and left the room. Now I was mad. "Hey! I deserve answers!" I stood up and struggled as I pushed the couch closer to the door, so I could reach it. I hit the door with my fists, hoping that there would be someone on the other side. "What happened!? Crowley!" I was hitting the door so hard that my fists started to go numb, but I kept hitting the door just hoping. For what.....I don't know. I guess, anything really.I continued screaming and hitting the door for about 5 minutes, then my throat started to hurt, and my voice began to give out. I gave up, pushed the couch back to where it originally was and sat down. I sat there, staring at the bag with the burger in it, on the other side of the couch. I was too worried to eat. Atleast I know that I am probably not left here to die, since he actually came back. How long it will be till next time, who knows, but for now I want to try and sleep. I put the bag on the floor and laid down, to fall asleep. I had my back facing out towards the door.
Dean's POV
I can feel the mark's power running through my veins, and the First Blade's energy calling me. It might be back in the trunk, but it's pull is strong, and I know that it will only get stronger.
"How long does it take?" Crowley is taking his sweet old time to come meet up with us. The sooner we get this done, the sooner we get jess back, unless my plan with Cas works. Then it will be sooner. If it does work, then we will have to keep eyes on her at all times, cause they will probably try to take her back, or worse.
"Boys." Crowley finally showed up.
"He have the mark, bow bring us to Abaddon." Sam said. He's starting to get more in to the fact that we will get Jess back after all of this.
"Let me see it." He walked closer to me. I rolled my eyes, then pulled up my sleeve. "Good. Now the blade."
"Oh come on." Sam complained. I felt the same way. He knew we already had it, he's just being annoying.
"Let's go. Show me it." Crowley demanded again. Sam went to the trunk and picked it up. When he touched it, a part of me felt like going over there and ripping it out of his hand, while the other part was stopping me from actually doing this. I watched it as Sam brought it over. The closer it got to me, the harder it was to keep myself from grabbing it. I managed to keep control over myself.
"Good," Crowley said then sam put the blade back in the trunk. "now we can go." And we did.Jess' POV
Just as I was about to fully fall asleep, someone started shaking my shoulder.
"Jess." The voice was firmiliar. I turned over to see who was shaking me. It was Cas. Does this mean I'm free?
"Cas." I might have only met him once, but Dean trusted him. I smiled, stood and hugged him. He didn't hug me back, instead he just stood there. I brought my arms back to my side.
"I'm here to bring you back."
"I'm kind of chained to the couch." I pointed at the chain on my ankle. He looked down at it and aimed his hand towards it. Then the shackle around my ankle opened. I forgot he is an angel. He placed his hand on my shoulder and then we were back in Dean's room. I looked over at Cas.
"They should be back soon." He said to me.
"Thank you." I hugged him again. It was the safest I had felt in hours. At first he just stood there, then I felt his arms embrace me. Finally, a real hug. We brought our arms back to our sides.
"You're wel-"
"Dean!" Sam shouted from the other side of the door. He was angry. I had never heard him so mad before. Cas and I both looked at the door, listening. "Dean!"
"What!?" Dean was angry too.
"Are we gonna talk about what happened back there or not."
"Or not." Dean snapped back.
"Well too bad. We have to, because what you did-"
"What I did was what I went there to do. Now shut up about it Sam."
"No. That wasn't how you would have normally done things, Dean. It's the mark. It-". The sound of shattering glass cut Sam off. Someone must have fell to the floor, because I felt the floor shake. I looked over at Cas who was concerned. He rushed up to the door and opened it. He ran over to them, Dean was on top of Sam, punching him in the face. Cas rushed over to Dean and tried to pull him off of Sam but Dean elbowed him in the face. He stumbled back, and then Dean pulled a pistol out from the back of his pant's waistline and pressed it against Sam's forehead. I screamed, and slammed the door. I hid in the closet and tried to listen to what they were saying.
"Dean." Cas' voice was harder to hear, now that I had two doors between me and them.
