Jess' POV

Explaining all of the supernatural things about the world to Will and Ed took a while, and was kind of hard to do because of the arguments over what is real and what is not. It didn't help that they all were drinking, so that made them a little more defensive, or whatever. Sam and Dean would say that something exists and then Ed or Will would say that it did not, and then there would be a huge argument over it. Usually the arguments would last about 20 minutes and then Ed and Will would give up and just go with it. It was when we told them about mom and dad that things went bad. When the words first came out of my mouth, they both asked if I was joking, but they could see on my face that I wasn't. They sat there quietly for a few seconds and then Ed whipped his beer at the wall. The bottle shattered and there was beer running down the wall. Will just stared at the table, while Ed was yelling.

"How! How did they die!?" Ed slammed his hands on the table as he shouted. Dean looked over at Cas, which wasn't a good idea. "You killed my parents!?" Ed's face was turning red.

"They were possessed by demons." Cas replied calmly.

"I don't fucking care! You killed them!" Ed stood up so quickly that his chair fell over. He rushed over to Cas and punched him in the face. Cas wasn't affected at all, but Ed was holding his fist in pain.

"I am sorry that the death of your parents upsets you, but you have to understand that what I did, had to be done, or else they could have-"

"Fuck you! You sit there, calmly telling me that you had  to kill my parents without any sympathy. Go rot in hell!" Ed started making his way to the front door.

"Ed stop. You can't leave." I tried to keep him from leaving.

"I'm surprised you wanna stay here with these, dicks. The guy who killed our parents, the one who beat my face in, and then...well... with the guy who doesn't know what a haircut is."

"Hey! You can't talk about them that way. I'm still upset with Cas, but I know that it's better to be with him than to be awway from him, if I want to be safe. And, Sam and Dean, are the ones who have been keeping me safe. They know all about this stuff, and they can protect me from-"

"Jess, you are so fucking blind. You wouldn't need protection, if you never had of met them...Mom and dad would still be alive if you never had of met them! "

"Woah." Dean spoke up. "Now look. I know you're upset about your parents, but it wasn't her fault. You just need to calm down and-"

"Shut the fuck up. You can rot in hell with your so-called angel friend too." Dean stood up from the table when Ed said this. Ed watched Dean as he walked over to him.

"It's funny you say that." Dean was standing in front of Ed now.

"Why?" Cas appeared behind Ed without him knowing.

"Because I already have." Then Dean punched Ed in the face, making him stumble into Cas' arms. Cas caught him and placed two fingers on his forehead and then Ed was unconscious. Will and Sam were still at the table. Will had his head in his hands and Sam watched as Dean carried Ed into Sam's room.

"Will." I said, as I picked up Ed's chair and sat next to him. There was no reply. "Will."

"What?" He moved the hand that covered his face on my side. His face was red, and he had tears in his eyes, while some ran down his face.

"I know I seem fine with it, but trust me when I say, that I'm not. I did the same thing your'e doing, but worse. You're holding together way better than I did."

"Better than Ed too." Dean said as he shut Sam's bedroom door behind him. I gave Dean a 'thats-not-helping'  look. He backed off immediatly and got another beer from the fridge.

"Look. I know you probably want to kill Cas right about now, but it's not possible." I continued to say.

"How are  you handling this so well?" He asked, looking up and wiping the tears out of his eyes. I explained to him how I delt with it, and how I tried to attack Cas, but Dean held me back at first.

Tears stopped forming in Will's eyes about an hour later, right around the same time Ed started to wake up. We were all sitting at the table when Ed came back in the room. He walked in calmly, and sat back down in his seat from before. He made no eye contact with anyone. Dean's phone rang and he left the room to take the call. About five minutes later he came back in the room and called Sam over to him.

Dean's POV

"That was one of the guys that dad used to hunt with. He said that there was possible signs of Vamp activity, just a little north from here." I told Sam when he came into the room.

"Dean, you can't be serious." He didn't look too into the opportunity of a hunt.

"What?"

"We are not just going to go on a hunt with Jess being here, and espeially not after her brothers coming here."

"Then lets bring them." I suggested.

"Have you lost your mind?"

"Look, it's a simple Vamp hunt. We can bring them along and teach them how to defend themselves...against some vampires that is."

"Dean."

"Oh come on man. You have to know that we can't be there for her every second of the day, so if we can give her some experience, then we won't have to worry as much."

"Dean, this is a bad idea."

"Let's let her decide that."

"No. Dean-" I left the room before he could stop me.

"Jess." I walked up to her at the table. "I just got a call about a possible hunt. Would you like to come along and learn how to fight against things like this?"

"Jess, don't. It's too dangerous. Dean, this isn't the right thing to do." Sam said as he entered the room.

"No Sam, it is. Ed was right. We are the reason that she needs protection. That if we had of never became a part of her life, that she would be safe and her parents would still be alive."

"Maybe that is true, but bringing her on a hunt won't help it."

"I'll do it." Jess spoke up.

"What?" Both Sam, Will, and Ed said with concern.

"I want to go." She said.

"Well I'm not letting her go alone." Ed said.

"Me neither." Will agreed.

"Well I'm not letting any of you go. Dean, call them back and tell them to do it themselves."

"No. I want to go, and if Will and Ed want to come then they come too." I could tell by her tone that Jess wanted this to happen.

"Fine. They can come too." I said, then I grabbed my keys out of my pocket. "Let's go."

"Dean." Sam seemed against the whole thing, but that didn't matter. This was happenig whether he liked it or not.

"Right now?" Jess quesitoned.

"Yes now. Come on." I walked over to the front door as I said this, then I opened the door. Surprsingly, this brought a smile to Jess' face. I did not think that she would be this into the whole huntig thing, especially after what happened. But, I do hope that her going along with this wasn't just because of what happened, because that is not the way to handle something like this.
