Sam's POV
Dean went to visit Jess, while I sat down with Cas.
"Hey, so where were you?" I needed to know if he had anything to do with their death or not.
"What do you mean?" He squinted.
"After Jess drove off, you left and we haven't seen you till now."
"I joined her in the car and tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen so I left." He looked away, we he got to the end of his sentence.
"Where did you go after that?"
"Why are you asking me all of these questions, Sam?"
"When we got there, her parents were dead. Dean went inside to check it out and he said that their eyes had been burnt out. Which sounded like the work of-"
"An angel."
"Exactly. And then we realized that you were know where to be found." He looked uneasy after I said this. "Cas, you didn't." He avoided eye contact with me. "Cas. Please tell me you didn't kill that girl's parents." I raised my voice, and pointed at the bedroom door as I said this. How could he! Why would he? There had to of been a reasonable explanation for this. "Wait. I thought you were cut off from heaven." Now I was mad. "Cas."
"I was, but then I wasn't."
"So you lied to us."
"Well you never asked me if I still was cut off, so technically I never-" He stopped his sentence early, probably because of the face I was making at him.
"Why would you kill her parents?"
"They weren't her parents. They were demons."
"What?"
"When I left her in the car, I went to their home. I knew that she wouldn't stop, so I was going to just bring them here. But, when I got there, they had demons possessing them."
"We could have excorsized them."
"If I had of waited for you to get there, they could have-"
"I don't care what they could have done Cas, they were her parents!" I was too mad to keep my voice down.Dean's POV
I had fallen asleep, when lying with Jess. The sound of Sam yelling woke me up. It must have started to wake Jess up too because she moved a bit. There was a loud bang that came from the other side of the door.
"What's going on?" Jess asked in a quiet and groggy voice.
"Shhhh. Nothing. Go back to sleep." I whispered, hoping she would, and she would have, if someone outside the room didn't make another loud noise. Now she was fully awake.
"Dean, seriously. What's going on?" I honestly didn't know what was going on, so I went to check. When I opened the door I saw Sam standing up, yelling at Cas. Sam's chair was on the other side of the room, that must have been the bang that we heard.
"Woah. Woah. Sam. Stop, what's going on?"
"Cas killed her parents." Sam didn't look over at me till after he finished speaking. His eyes looked at something behind me. Jess had followed me out of the room. I turned to see what she was doing. She looked mad, but also has tears in her eyes. Then, all of a sudden she started running at Cas. I grabbed her as she tried to get past me. She kept trying to push away from me, to get to him, but I wouldn't let her go.
"You son of a bitch! How could you!" She screamed as she kept trying to push away from me.
"They were possessed by demons." He said calmly, even tho Jess was only a couple feet away from him.
"They were my parents! Dean let me go!" Now the started hitting me and it hurt more than I thought it would. I kept holding her because I knew that if I let her go, that she would try to her maybe even kill Cas. Actually, Cas can't won't even get hurt if she punches him, she will. I learned that the hard way. Maybe that will get her to stop.
"If you hit him, you'll only be hurting yourself." I warned her. She must have tuned me out because she still wanted to hit him.
"Let me go!" She was still hitting me. Letting her go, would let her get the satisfaction of hitting him but she will most likely injure herself. It's better than letting her hit me. Just as I was about to let her go, Cas walked over,
And pressed two fingers on her forehead, making her fa unconcious in my arms.
"Cas." Sam complained.
"What the hell man." I said as I put one of my arms under Jess' knees and the other on her back, picking her up in my arms. I carried her over to the couch. After I lied her down, I went back over to Sam and Cas. "Okay, Cas. First of all, you can't do that to her ever again. And I don't care if she comes at you with a knife, you still can't do that. And second of all, how did you kill her parents, I thought you were cut off from-"
"Not anymore." Sam interrupted. "He's had his full power back for a while now. He just didn't tell us." Cas looked at the floor. Kind of the same way a puppy would, when you tell it that it's done something bad.
"I wasn't in full power when Bobby died. So when you asked me to bring him back, I really wasn't able to." His response didn't make the situation any better.
"Okay, but you shouldn't have killed her parents Cas. Possessed by demons or not, you don't kill innocent people."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't say sorry to me, say it to her. I'm not sure she'll listen though." I pointed at Jess on the couch. He walked over to her, put his fingers on her forehead again, and then she woke up. She came to, slowly at first, then when she remembered what was going on before Cas put her out, she went after him.
"I'm sorry." He said, then she started hitting his chest.
"You son of a bitch!" She screamed. "How could you!"
"I'm sorry." He didn't sound sincere, but it's Cas, so nothing is sincere with him. He just stood there, taking the hits to his chest like nothing, but I guess, being an angel really does make them feel like nothing.
"How long do you think she'll go for?" Sam leaned over and asked me.
"How ever long it takes, I guess. I mean, it's not like Cas will ever actually get hurt. But her hands might get a bit bruised." I crossed my arms and replied. Sam and I just stood there watching her continuously hit him. The look on Cas' face showed that he was just so done with all of this. Other than the reason why this was going on, it was actually quite amusing to watch.
