Dean's POV
Jess finally stopped hitting and yelling at Cas after fifteen minutes. When she finished, she walked into Sam's room and slammed the door.
"That went well don't you think?" I teased Cas as he came and sat at the table with Sam and I. He didn't say anything, but he did glare at me.
"How long do you think she'll be in there?" Sam asked, looking back at the door that separated us from her.
"I don't know. But we should give her as much time as she needs." I replied.
"What about her brothers?" Cas added.
"What brothers?" Sam and I asked at the same time.
"Her two brothers. I believe their names are Will and Ed." He said. How did Cas know about her brothers, and we didn't?
"How do you know she has brothers?" Sam asked, crossing his arms and setting them on the table. He was just as confused as I was.
"It was when I first met her, and she said she had to go see her brother. Of course that was a lie. She said brother, but she really wanted me to bring her to you Sam. That was before you two knew about her whole dating situation."
"So you brought her to her brothers, and then she told you that, that was a lie and she really needed to go to Sam?" I needed clarification to this whole situation.
"Yes." He replied.
"Okay. Well now that we know she has brothers. What should we do about it?" Sam asked.
"She's gonna want to tell them about their parents." I stated.
"Do we let her?" Just after Sam asked this, we hear her talking in the other room.
"I think she's already doing it." I said as I ran over to the door. I quickly opened the door. I caught her by surprise because she almost fell off the bed. She had the phone pressed up against her ear. "Jess, put the phone down." The person on the other end must have heard me and asked who was talking to her because her words weren't directed at me.
"Oh that's um, Dean. He, uh-" I ripped the phone out of her hand. I could hear the guy on the other end asking where she went and what happened.
"She's gonna have to call you back." I said, then I ended the call.
"Hey!" Now she was mad. Sam and Cas were in the room now.
"You can't just straight up tell your brothers about us." She looked shocked that I knew she had brothers. "Yeah, Cas told us about your brothers. What are their names again?"
"Will and Ed." She watched her hands play with the blanket as she said their names. "But Dean, they need to know." She was talking about her parents.
"I know, but we have to think about this for a minute."
"What's there to think about? They deserve to know about them."
"You're right, they need to know about your parents, but they don't need to know about us."
"But if I'm safe here with you guys, then can't they come here too?" I could see it in her eyes, how much she needed them. "Please."
"Go get them Cas."
"Thank you." She hasn't smiled for while, but the smile she did after she said this, was refreshing. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
We waited there for Cas to come back with her brothers. All of a sudden, we heard them in the other room.
"What the hell, man?" One of them said. Sam and I went out to where they were, and the amount of resemblance between them and Jess was unbelievable. "Who are you?" The one with glasses asked, when he saw Sam and I.
"I'm Dean and this is my brother Sam."
"Dean?" The other one, with the hat on, asked. "Yes, I'm De-"
"Where's our sister!?"
"She's in the other room. Jess, come out here." I called her out because they were her brothers, and she wanted them here, so they're her responsibility. She came out and immediately ran over to hug them.
"Where have you been?" The one with glasses asked her.
"I've been here, with Sam and Dean. They're-"
"Woah, Woah." I cut her off because, the less they know the better. When I said this, I also took a step closer and reached out to Jess, but the one with the hat pulled Jess behind him. I scoffed at that.
"What's that sound for? Huh?" The one with glasses asked aggressively.
"You two think you can protect her. She's been more safe here with us, than she has ever been with you two." My words made the one with glasses angry and he swung at me. I ducked and his fist went over my head. As he was facing his fist, that went to the side, I punched him in the head, and his glasses went flying. I think I might have sprained my wrist when doing this. He stumbled back, I followed him and pushed him against the wall. The hand I punched him with earlier, still hurt so I used it to hold the front of his shirt, while my other hand was punching him in the face. The mark on my arm was burning, Jess was screaming, and someone was trying to pull me away from him. I elbowed the person behind me without checking who it was. Then I saw Cas come up beside me, and before I could push him away he put two fingers on my forehead and everything when black.
Jess' POV
Sam caught Dean before he hit the floor, and set him down gently. Ed dropped to the floor. His face was swollen and covered in blood.
"Fix him." I demanded Cas to do, with one last tear falling down my face. Cas brought one hand down to Ed's face, and then he was healed. Ed brought his hands to his face to feel that it didn't hurt anymore, and there was no more blood.
"What the hell did he just do to me?" Ed stood up, as Cas walked away. He came back with Ed's glasses. They were in perfect condition, as if we had just bought them.
"Here." Cas said as he handed Ed his glasses.
"Ed, he healed you." I came out from behind Will.
"But-" Ed tried to speak, but I cut him off.
"He's an angel, and his name is Castiel. Cas for short."
"An angel? Seriously, you expect me to believe that?"
"Where have you always wanted to travel to?"
"What does that have to-"
"Just answer the question."
"I've always wanted to go to Rome."
"Okay. Cas, take him to Rome." Cas put his hand on Ed's shoulder and then they were gone.
"Woah." Will said. He kept staring at the place that Ed and Cas were before they left. "How did he do that?"
"Like I said, he's an angel. Its hard to wrap your head around at first, but once you hear about all of the other things Sam and Dean have met, it makes more sense." I explained, as I moved away from Will, to next to Sam. After that, Ed and Cas reappeared in front of us. Ed looked surprised, almost like he thought I was making all of it up. I wonder how they'll handle the truth about the dangers in this world. Or how they'll take it when I tell them about mom and dad. I wonder what they think of Dean now that his first impression was beating Ed's face in. I don't know what got into him, but it scared me. I don't like to be around him when he acts out like this. It must be the mark on his arm. He only started acting out ever since he got it.
