Me and Brittany went to the toilet quickly then rushed to the screening room, we opened the door and walked up the ramp in the pitch black, luckily the adverts were still on so we didn't really miss anything other than a dude trying to make us buy a vacuum for 10% off.

Best news I've heard.

We got to our seats, Kellie left me a seat next to Jake who left another seat the other side of him for Brittany. I carefully tip toed past and tripped then fell on Jake. He chuckled quietly and picked me up like a child then sat me on my seat. Awkward.

"Thanks" I murmured.

"No problem, you can hold my hand if you get scared" He replied confidently. I brushed him off and focussed on my food and the massive screen. Nice popcorn. I reached for another piece when I felt a hand. Huh? I looked down to find Jake's hand helping its greedy self to my popcorn. How rude...I smacked his hand and he frowned. Too bad. He gave me the cutest look ever. Don't do that! Argh. I gave in and handed him some popcorn whilst he had a victorious smirk plastered on his face.

Suddenly, the screen expanded and the film began. I was really excited; the hunger games is the best film in the whole world. Well, I prefer the second one, catching fire, not so much the third one, it's too depressing. Besides, Peeta wants to kill Katniss, that's not good romance. Oh yeah, I'm team Peeta. He's just, amazing. I have no words to describe his greatness. I mean, stuff the rest of the film, Peeta Mellark or Josh Hutcherson should I say, is the most irresistible person on the plannet. Well. I guess Jake is better because I'm highly bonded to him but still...

My heart melted as I saw his beautiful face as he was chosen tribute alongside Miss Everdeen. It's so cute how she volunteers for her little sister; it's really emotional. I can't imagine being her character, if it was real, how tough it would be. Jake growled noticing my obsession for Peeta so I carefully, anonymously, tangled my hand in his. It was warm and had a comforting feeling. It felt nice. Jake kept his eyes on the screen but smiled in victory. Ugh, what a vain boy.

"You got scared of Peeta?" Jake smirked quietly "Or was it Effie? She too much for you, like Brittany?"

"Shut up. Brittany is a great girl." I snapped and took my hand back. Brittany, having witnessed the whole thing and hearing, gave me a thankful smile for defending her.

"I'm sorry? I didn't mean too-when did you start liking her anyway?" Jake frowned.

"Since we became friends in a toilet." I replied emotionlessly.

"Oh." Jake murmured and sat back, feeling guilty.

"That was fun" Kellie skipped as we excited the cinema with Jake and Brittany.

"Yup" I replied.

"Nope" Jake frowned.

"It was kinda fun" Brittany laughed "I love the berry bit, it's really cute"

"Hey, Brittany. Do you want to come round? Have a girly sleepover with me and Kellie?" I asked politely.

"For real!?" Brittany squealed and I nodded "Ahhhh! I haven't had one in ages. Oh my gosh Emmy, thankyou so much!"

Brittany ran up and gave me a massive hug. This Brittany was so different, she was really kind, fun and beautiful. She's absolutely stunning. I don't know why she would ever want to change herself. Oh yeah...her Dad. Jake was quiet and in his own little mood, busy scruffing up his shoes on the ground. Sigh.

"Jake stop being miserable. I forgive you, Okay?" I punched his arm lightly "As long as you apologise to Brittany"

"Sorry Brittany" Jake mumbled "Its just, I really don't want to marry you, my mate is Em and I love her."
