EMMY'S POV

"Okay you can open your eyes"

Blinking in the moonlight, I opened my eyes, my mouth hung open. It was beautiful. It was a pretty aqua blue lake, it was glowing, I'd never seen anything like it. Ever. It's delicate waves lapped at the shore and kissed the smooth grey pebbles which lay, moulding into the already perfected freeze frame. I watched as the stunning moonlight reflected onto the ripples in the water and effortlessly danced around, causing a new scene. The dominating trees looked down over the lake and felt no need to sway in the windless air.

"I love you" Jake whispered in my ear. I smiled and blushed a bit.

"I love you more" I giggled as he tickled my back.

"No way!" He shot back and chased me to the water. I giggled as I tiptoed along the smooth pebbles and Jake laughed as he sprayed me with some water from the lake. I splashed him back playfully and he let out a low purr. I giggled and jogged up into his open arms. He spun me round then set me on the ground. He had a happy smile glued to his face and tugged on my hand.

He led me to the edge of the shore to a small romantic boat. It was wooden but safe with protected paint and two life vests. Jake helped me in the boat, we didn't put the lifevests on; Jake said we didn't need them as the water only went up to your knee. Trusting him, I let him push the boat away from land and into the lake.

He grabbed an oar and gracefully stroked the sea until we reached the middle area. He leaned closer to me and put an arm around me. The stars joined the moon in the pinky sky and looked down on us. I rested my head onto Jake's chest and breathed in and out. Enjoying the moment. His hand caressed my cheek and send pleasant shivers through me. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of his heartbeat. It was like a lullaby to me. So soft, gentle.

"I always came up here. After my parents died, it was the best place I could clear my mind." Jake murmured. I snuggled up to him closer.

"It's beautiful" I whispered. Jake smiled in agreement, I opened my eyes again and sat up so we were face to face.

"Tomorrow, I want you to stay in the house" Jake told me.

I shook my head with stubbornness "No. I'm her Alpha"

"I don't want you to get hurt, you don't even know how to fight" Jake complained.

"Teach me then" I asked hopefully.

"Em. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you again" Jake looked me in the eye and cupped my face.

"You won't" I assured.

"I love you so much" Jake sighed.

"I know" I smiled and he leaned closer to my face. Pumping, my heart began to pick up speed. His heart nervously joined mine as his lips touched my neck. My arms wound round his neck and his lips trailed up to my jawline. He slung his arms around my waist and my heart was practically on fire.

Was he going to kiss me? Finally? Jake's lips came closer and closer to mine. This moment was like a dream. I hoped it wasn't. His lips were now 1mm away from mine. I took a deep breath. Just as he was about to kiss me, someone yelped in the distance and fell out a bush. I squealed and moved back from Jake like a rocket. Becca was spying on us! She had freaking binoculars!

Jake groaned and laid back on the boat. I was open mouthed at Becca. Why? How? How did she find us!? Becca nervously laughed and June and Nicole appeared from the bush, with my twin behind them!

"Guys!" I almost screamed with embarrassment.

"It's okay, you guys can kiss! We won't do nothing!" Becca gave a thumbs up.
