Sunlight poured in through the gaps of the curtains, waking me from my sleep. Caged, my body is still wrapped up in Jake's strong arms. Overnight, I thought about the note. The note is haunting my mind, I can't shake it. I have to make a decision. I want my Mum back, but is it worth risking everyone else I love? Does this decision make me selfish?
Turning round, I let my nose touch Jake's. His hair was flopped onto his pillow and his eye lashes were long and adorable. My mate didn't look very threatening like this, he looked more like a puppy. Pouted, his lips were plump and frowning slightly. You can't help but love him. Especially his cute little dimples planted in his cheeks.
Jake's bare chest was still solid and firm. It really does feel like a rock. A rock, but a hot rock. Taking a big whiff of the air, I smiled at the smell of Jake's cologne. Probably some packaging with fire on and the title saying 'dangerous ladies man'. Jake is cheesy and weird like that, thinking it's attractive to women.
Forgiving him could be either hard or easy, it's how I chose to act. Jake knows our argument isn't over either. We have to thank the bond from our mark for keeping us together. If we weren't together, neither of us would be able to sleep because we have to be together and if we were angry, it would be awkward.
What he said was cruel, but he had a right to say it. Jake hasn't always been a prince charming to me, he was mean once upon a time. Shaking off old ways is hard to do. The urge to punch him is large, yet so is the urge to kiss the life out of him. This is what love does to a person, it can either break you, or make you.
"Mornin'" Jake murmured huskily, his eyes still closed. I manage a smile and snuggle into his chest as he pulls me closer. Jake kissed my forehead sweetly and opened his eyes. Those green eyes. I love those green eyes. I stared at my mark on Jake's neck and traced it with my finger. Jake purred which caused a chuckle to bubble from me.
"What?" Jake seemed offended. His innocent green eyes burned into mine, I almost melted. Almost. Jake brought his face down to mine and brushed his nose on my nose. I could feel his hands loosely hooked around my back, extremely close to my butt. Whereas my hands were either side of his face, now stroking his cute dimples.
"You're too masculine to purr, it was amusing" I grinned and Jake bit my finger. Wow. He learnt a move from me: the finger bite. Jake grabbed my butt once I'd spoken, I gasped and moved uncomfortably.
"Now I'm more masculine aren't I?" Jake laughed at my unamused face. That jerk just grabbed my butt to prove his masculinity!
"You'd better watch yourself, Knight. I haven't forgiven you're cruelness yet" I raised an eyebrow. Jake sighed, as if he knew that but hoped it wasn't true.
"Was I really that bad? You did kiss me then sleep in my bed" Jake complained.
"Yes, it was. Plus that kiss was a dominance kiss and if I didn't sleep next to you, we wouldn't be able to sleep" I pointed out.
Jake huffed "so if you haven't forgiven me, why are you being so nice?"
"For now, I'm nice, we have one more hour just laying here with me being nice" I stated bluntly.
"Then what?" Jake winced.
"Then I go all mean again." I smirked and curled into his arms.
"So you won't kill me if I kiss you for an hour?" Jake wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"I guess not, I don't kill in the mornings" I joked. Jake brushed my hair from my face and leant down to kiss my cheek. Then his lips travelled down my cheek to my mouth.

I threw the pillow at Jake with a murderous look on my face. During our intense kiss, Jake had decided it would be fun to 'fall' off the bed, he pushed me off and then fell on top of me without warning. Now I'm busy having an intense pillow war with him instead, at about 7 in the morning. We must've woken up so early.
