"Ugh. It's so good to be home" I yelled like a crazy person once I entered my OWN house.
Jake dropped me off after football practice. Max dropped Becca off too; we decided to have a girly sleepover. Kellie went back to the pack house with Cole though. She's missing out on all the fun.
Becca shut the front door and kicked off her shoes. My Mum was home, she prefers home to the pack house. In fact, her new doctor boyfriend moved in our house. They were in the kitchen, probably drinking tea and watching boring programmes on the small flat screen. My Mum loves it when Becca comes round; apparently she's an 'Angel'. Pfft, I wish.
"Keep the noise down please girlies!" Mum told us from the kitchen.
Becca replied too kindly "Of course Mrs Sky, we don't want to disturb you on this beautiful night do we Em?"
Ugh.
"No" I mumbled.
"Thankyou Becca dear, would you two girls like some hot chocolate with marshmallows? I'll bring them up to you later if you want" My Mum asked.
Yes! Mum makes the best hot chocolate!
Becca replied politely "No thankyou, we wouldn't want to trouble you. We'll probably just watch a movie then go to sleep"
Lies.
"Oh, well tell me if you need anything honey" My Mum was probably smiling.
I need hot chocolate and marshmallows.
"We will" Becca promised and we went up the stairs. As always, I paused to take a glimpse at my father. Becca tugged on my hand impatiently. I breathed in my room when I passed through the doorway. Ah, home sweet home.
Becca made herself at home by jumping straight onto the bed. I clapped the lights on and yawned. Becca loves my fairy lights. She's jealous of them. Mega jealous. I know she is. Who isn't?
Becca and I dressed into pjs. I lended her some of mine. Haha. Sorry, it's just weird not wearing June's clothes. Or Jake's. I frowned. I like wearing Jake's clothes though. They smell like him.
I sat down on my favourite bean bag and Becca took her favourite beside me. She crawled forward slightly and brought forth the movie options: Letters To Juliet, all the twilight films, The Vampire Diaries (all the series), The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games Catching Fire, Remember Me, Water For Elephants, The Amazing Spider Man, Snow White and The Huntsman and Mission Impossible.
I was having a metal breakdown. How can I choose? This isn't fair. But then I had to give in to the Hunger Games Catching Fire. It's my favourite. I'm sorry Vampire Diaries. I still love you but...I love Catching Fire more. I love all of the films. But I can always watch them another time, right? Becca approved of my choice and put the rest away.
I put the disc in the tv and hit the play button. Finnick and Peeta are the best, oh and Joanna, they're awesome. Becca and I slouched back in the bean bags and watched happily as the movie played. That was when a stupid stone hit the window. Followed by two more.
We paused the film angrily and stormed over to my window, I pulled it open just as another stone was thrown. I whisper-screamed as it hit my face. I pulled away from the window dramatically. Becca tried to contain her laughter. I began to hop around in pain, trying to stop my screams from escaping. It really hurt. My head throbbed in pain.
I grabbed the stone that hit me and threw it back out the window. The person who threw the rock yelled "ow!". I snorted. Serves them right, throwing rocks at people's faces. I looked out the window to see Jake laughing at Max. Oops, I hit my best friend with a stone.
