The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most.

I really didn't want to go to the game. But as Jenna put it "we had to celebrate my birthday with some girl time" I had reluctantly agreed after she pulled the puppy face. I just didn't feel like doing anything involving being in the same  place as Brodie.

I got ready at a snail like pace. Taking forever in the shower and taking even longer picking an outfit, I decided I'd wear faded jeans and a plaid over shirt with black and yellow osiris shoes. I curled my hair and did my make up. When I was happy with my appearence I went down to my car and drove to the arena. The radio was blasting Blame It On September by Allstar Weekend. I rather enjoyed the song and made a mental note to download it later.

I arrived to the arena three break up songs later. For some reason it was like I related to them all. Great. I walked into the arena and went to find my friends. They were sitting behind the boys' bench as always. I walked up and sat beside Jenna. She and Kiana had wished me happy belated birthday, I smiled and said thanks.

"Is this all we are doing to celebrate my birthday?" I asked no one in particular.

"No actually, we have a surprise for you." Jenna said with a wink.

Oh God what is she thinking. I thought to myself.

Kiana and Jenna must have noticed the horrified look on my face because they burst out laughing. I frowned and turned in my seat just in time to see the boys coming on the ice.

Yay.

I watched the game and I found myself enjoying it and the company. There was a lot of violence and the Thunder Bay assholes had tried to provoke the boys into fights but they failed. My boys are smarter than that. I thought. Brodie was on the ice and I started to glare daggers at his helmet.

Our boys had won, of course. With a 4 point lead, I was extremly proud. This was what I loved about hockey, fans cheering and having a good time. Friends having a few drinks while cheering on their team. It was so great. I got up out of my seat and turned to ask Jenna where I should go to meet them.

"Payton we are acctually going to see Tyler and Alexander before we leave, if you don't mind?" Kiana asked with puppy dog eyes.

Damn her and that look.

"Yeah sure I wanna see them and congradulate the team on a great game." I forced a smile on my face as we walked to the change room.

We walked in and all the guys instantly started to wolf-wistle. I looked around and saw that they all had no shirts and towels slung on their waists. I blushed as I looked over all the guys' toned abs. As I was turning to leave, the one person I was avoiding so well was standing in my way blocking the door looking like all the other guys, except he looked ten times better. I mentally slapped myself for even having that thought.

"This is Brodie Payton. You hate him and always will." I told myself.

Jenna and Kiana traded a look with Alexander and Tyler. They must have noticed because they looked away from their boyfriends instantly. I got nervous.. those four were definatly up to something. I didn't know what but I was sure I didn't want to know anyway.  Jenna walked out the room with Tyler in tow. All the rest of the guys on the team were gone. I wondered why we were still here.

"Kiana can you tell Jenna that I'm sorry but we will have to celebrate another time, I'm tired and I don't want to be around HIM any longer." I said as I cointinued to glare at Brodie.

"Uhm yeah sure.. I'll see ya later." Kiana said a little hesitant, with a small smile.

I walked to the front doors only to find them locked.

What the hell.

I went back to the change room and walked in. I found no one I needed.. only Brodie. Lord knows I didn't need him. I was about to leave when the door was slammed shut. I heard a locking sound and I ran and pounded on the door.

"LET ME OUT!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY GUYS! COME ON WE WERE GONNA HAVE GIRL TIME!" I yelled at Jenna and Kiana. I knew they were behind this I just didn't know why. But I intended to find out.

I turned to look around for another door, but came up empty handed. I looked around looking for anything that could help me get out of this hell... I couldn't be in here with this arrogant jerk.

"Jenna, Tyler, Alexander, Kiana.. Pretty pretty please let me out... we can hit up the club to celebrate my nirthday and have our girl time. Pleeeeeeeease." I begged and begged. Hell they couldn't see it but I was actually on my knees begging.

Brodie snikered and I turned and glared at him. His face fell and he looked back at the ground. Stupidhead.

"Sorry P we can't let you out until you and Brodie work things out." Jenna said through the door.

That's what this is about? Brodie and Me!

"Jenna you guys this isn't a joke. You know how I feel about him! I hate him I might kill him if you guys don't let me out right now!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Payton, we know this isn't a joke but we can't take you guys hating eachother anymore!" I recognized Kiana's voice now.

"Why do you guys care so much if I hate him or not?" I asked calming down a bit.

"Because it's awkward." I heard all four of them say in a duh tone.

I rolled my eyes and sat on a bench in the room. There was no way  I was getting out of here. I was doomed to be in a room with Brodie.

Shoot me now I thought to myself.
