Ice Breaker.. Can I Get With You?

Life In A Glass House.

As I lay beside Brodie I remembered when my grandma told me an old Native legend about a boy who was part wolf, he wanted to become a great story and he made it happen. He went to find 'His chosen one' or 'his love', the boy set out on his 18th birthday, that's when he could shift into his wolf form. He found his mate and they became a family. One day he went hunting with his friend, while back at camp the white people came. He had heard gun shots, so he rushed home. His wolf was furious at what he saw, but the man was heart broken. Some live and some did not. The man lost everything. He stared up in the sky, and into the ocean. He cried for many days but he couldn't take it anymore. He looked into the clouds and said, "Take me Great Spirit, to my family." He prays and waits... and waits.... and waits... and waits. Finally he crosses over. In pursuit of his family. 

I got up and smiled. I always loved that story.. it had so much meaning to me. It always reminded me that true love will wait for you and 'the one' will stay beside you always. Family and love are important. 

"Payton, it's 9 in the morning come back to sleep, I am cold without you beside me," Brodie pouted and was giving me the puppy dog eyes. 

"That's not fair! You know I can't resist the puppy face!" Brodie gave me a smug look as I crawled back into bed. 

"Payton you look good in my t-shirt." I looked down and sure enough I was wearing Brodies red and black Circa shirt. My face flamed and I started to giggle like an idiot. I fell back asleep just cuddling Brodie, I held onto him like he was going to disappear any minute, but he never did.

I woke up and I was in Brodies bed alone. Where did he go? I heard a smash and some yelling. I jumped up and ran down the hall and down the stairs, to see Jenna holdong a plate in the air aimed at Brodie. WTF?

"Jenna what are you doing?" 

"I was getting mad at him, I found a dress hanging off his door and I fig-" She stopped and looked at me. Her frown and anger quickly faded as she looked me up and down. I wondered what she was looking at then I remembered I was only in Brodies shirt and some boy short underwear. My face yet again went bright red. 

"OH, that was your dress Payton!" She gave me a sly smile and I felt I had to deffend myself. 

"We didn't do anything I swear!" 

"Reeeally? You guys left the party early and now Brodie is in boxers and your in his t-shirt... which leads me to think that you guys did do something..." She trailed off placing the plate on the counter. My face was probably red like a tomato. I went and walked to the fridge grabbing a bottle of water... I had to calm down. Brodie grabbed me and placed his head on my shoulder. His front was all up against my back. I just stood there smiling, we fit so good together. 

"BOW CHICKA WOW WOW!" I turned to see Tyler, Alexander, Kiana, and Jenna kill themselves laughing as Jenna gave me and Brodie a wink. Brodie nuzzled his face into my neck, his minty breath sending shivers down my spine. I turned and gave him a kiss, he quickly responded and deepened that kiss. I was so into the kiss I had forgot the others were there... until Tyler opened his big mouth. 

"GETTIN IT IN!" Brodie and me started to laugh our lips still touching. I turned and glared at them all before breaking into a laughing fit again. 

"I'm going to take a shower, you guys are meanies!" I was about to strom off before Brodie pulled me into him, my hand had accidently hit his baby maker and he let out a small grunt. 

"Omg! Brodie I am so sorry! I didn't mean to you pulled me back to fast and hard and I- " Brodies lips cut off my reply. Ugh I could really get use to this. I thought as he deepened the kiss yet again. This boy really doesn't waste time. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers in his hair. He had his hands on my hips and pulled me closer. He moved his lipss to my ear.

"Can I join you?" He whispered into my ear, I blushed knowing he wanted to come into the shower with me. Then it clicked. Oh my god, he wanted to come into the shower with me?

"No you can not join me," I finally opened my eyes to see Brodie giving me the puppy eyes again. I have to be strong, I can't have him in the shower with me. 

"Awwe come on P, someday I'll see you naked anyway, and besides your my girlfriend now, remember?" I looked at him as I realized he said someday, did that mean he thinks we'll be together long or he is just going to get into my pants and leave me? I shook my head clearing my thoughts. I will not be negative, I have Brodie as my boyfriend and I am going to be happy about it. 

"Wait, did you just say girlfriend?" 

"Well yeah I mean Payton is my girlfriend now so shouldn't I be able to shower with her?" I turned and yet again I had frogot the others were in the kitchen with us. Jenna and Kiana gave me big smiles and they all looked at Brodie like he was growing a new head. 

"Payton is that true? Y-you and Brodie are together?" I looked at Kiana and Jenna they were full on grinning. I blushed and nodded. I was curious to what they all thought about Mr. Player having a girlfriend after Miss. Bitch broke his heart. Rude yes I know but I can't help it. 

"OH MY GOD!" The girls screamed as the boys gave Brodie the fist bump pound it thing they do. Figures they's be happy about this.

They did lock us in the arena for this purpose. I smiled at the memory and frowned at the rest of it. It wouldn't have been so bad if we had actually gotten together then but we only preteneded to be on good terms... I wonder how things would be now if me and Brodie had made up for real then.. it has been a few months since that inccident. Oh well past is past, no going back now. I walked out of the kitchen and headed for the bathroom. I really need a shower now too much excitement for one morning.

"Girls we are going shopping. We have to be ready for the Avengers appreciation party, we don't want to look like poor slobs and plus we can buy some summer outfits for the end of school," I looked at Jenna she always loved parties, it gave us girls an excuse to buy cute clothes and to bond. 

We all piled into Jennas vehicle and went to the mall. I went and bought some lingerie from Victoria's Secret and La Senza. I had boought some really cute short shorts, and crop tops, and some new shoes and dresses and sweats for those lazy summer nights. You can never go wrong with shoes. I met up with the girls in the food court. We each had about ten bags in our hands, as we walked out laughing and just enjoying our girl time. I missed these girls, we have all be closer but we also spend so much time with the boys we barely can have these girl talks, and shopping sprees. 

Jenna had put all our bags into the back of the truck and started driving back to her place. It's funny, Kiana and Alex were fine now but we all still stayed at Jennas place. I felt kind of like a free loader. 

"Jenna I think I'll go back to my place, I feel I have over stayed.. I'll meet you guys at the party?" 

"Hell no girl, you are more than welcome to stay at my place, and we are getting ready together, so just sit back and relax."

I sighed okay at least she didn't think I was some big moocher. I looked out the window and noticed we had already arrived at the house. I opened the door and grabbed my bags. I walked in and up to Brodies room, I had to show him what I had bought. 

Brodies door was open so I walked in," Brodie you'll never guess-" I really wished I had knocked before I entered.
