Just Desserts

Brodies point of view. 

I was still shocked after the shower that Little Miss Virigin Good girl Payton Brookes got in with me. I was thinking i about it the whole ride to Coach Greens house. Every year he had a party for the team but this is the first year I've come with a girlfriend. Even when I was dating Jamie I didn't bring her to one of these. I knew she didn't like hockey but Payton was way different, she was a hockey lover like me, and she was hot. I don't know why she thought she was fat, I think she's beautiful. Even now in her simple red dress the goes to mid thigh. She is showing quite a bit of leg but not enough to be considered a slut. Payton could never be a slut. 

"Brodie and Payton the badass couple, beating up sluts since 1991!" I rolled my eyes as everyone laughed at Tyler. He still couldn't believe Payton had K.O.ed Ally. 

"Shut up Tyler, it's done. Over." 

"Awwe come on P you knocked her the fuck out and she and Jesse still have the nerve to show up at this party," Tyler let out a low whistle. I nearly chocked on air. Jesse and Ally were coming to the party that's just great. 

Payton burst out laughing and everyone gave her a quzzical look. She looked at me and climed into my lap. I kissed her cheek and she blushed. 

"Your so cute when you blush," I wispered into her ear and she blushed a darker shade of red. I chuckled and pulled her close to me. We arrived at the Coach Green's house and it looked huge. For only him, his wife and his son to be living here the place looked like it could fit hundreds of people. I walked up hand in hand with Payton. 

We walked into the backyard and everyone on the team was there. I smiled and walked up to Mike and Jordan. We shared our bro hug and talked. Payton had left to talk with Jenna and Kiana, they were talking to Stacey. Stacey was alright looking but no girl could compare to Payton. 

"Yeah, I know bro Payton is super fine," Jordan said with a wink. Shit did I really say that out loud? 

"Uhh yeah she's beautiful," I couldn't help the smile that was now on my face. Payton was all mine, I had the most beautiful girl as my girlfriend. Someone placed their hands over my eyes," Payton what are you do-" I was a little confused when I saw Jamie looking at me.

"Payton?" 

"Oh uhm Jamie... what are you doing here?" I looked over and saw Payton galring at Jamie. She took a shot and walked over. Uh oh this couldn't be good. 

"Hey babe," Payton kissed me and as I went to deepen the kiss she pulled away. Damn so close. 

"Hey... babe?" I didn't mean for it to sound like a question but I hadn't been called babe by Payton.. ever. Jamie cleared her throat, I forgot she was even there!

"Oh uhm right Payton meet Jamie," I looked from Payton to Jamie they were glaring at each other,"Jamie this is Payton."

"I'm his girlfriend," Payton looked up at me and I saw in her eyes pure jealousy. It was hot.

"Oh well I'm Jamie, the exgirlfriend."

"Ex girlfriend huh? Well maybe you should stick to that and back off!" Payton's grip on my arm became a death grip. I wanted so badly to kiss her, her anger was really turning me on. 

"Payton!" Ii turned and saw Ally and Jesse walking over to us. Their faces were blue and purple, they were the perfect match. Jamie and Payton stopped their little glare fest and in return they glared at the couple walking. 

"What do you want?" Payton narrowed her eyes to Ally then to Jesse. I felt the anger bubbling up inside me. Jesse was ballsy if he thought he could hit my girl and come here as if nothing happened. We must have looked pretty great because soon everyone's eyes were on us. Looking from me to Payton, to Jesse and Ally, and lastly to Jamie. Everyone knew about Jamie and me.. I wish they didn't but this was a small city and news travels fast. 

"Payton me and you need to talk alone... without Brodie or anyone around, please?" Jesse looked hopeful. As if Payton would go off alone with him. 

"Fine but leave your skank here." I looked at Payton in disbelief but she kissed my cheek and grabbed Jesse they walked by the dessert table. I watched and I soon heard Payton raise her voice.

"Jesse, Brodie will always be more of man than you are! He won't cheat on me like you did and I would never leave him for you! I love him!" I don't think Payton realized she had the whole party watching her exchange with Jesse. 

Wait. Did Payton just say she loved me? Nawh maybe I had heard her wrong. 

"Payton are you crazy you can't seriously love Brodie! He doesn't even care for you he just wants in your pants and then he'll leave you because you won't give him what he wants! Your just another puck bunny like everyother girl, you'll never be like Jamie! She's the one Brodie loves not you!" 

I saw Payton and she was shaking. I over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. I looked at Paytons face, it was like fireworks of emotions were going off at once. Jesse was pissed that he glared daggers at us. Payton grabbed the bowl that the punch was in and dumped it over Jesse, and then she started to throw all sorts of desserts at him. That must have made Jesse really mad because yet again he raised his hand and back handed Payton. This guy did not learn did he not understand that if he hits my girl I'm going to get involved? 

I brought my fist back and knocked Jesse out in one punch. I turned and Payton was crying. I quickly calmed down and pulled her into my arms. I didn't care she was getting blood and tears all over my faveorite shirt, I just didn't want Payton to cry anymore. 

Jamie walked over," Brodie... I see your in love with this girl.. and I understand I'll never have a second chance.. so I'll leave you guys alone." I looked at Jamie and she crying but I didn't care. Jamie was literally nothing to me, all that mattered is that I gogt Payton home before Ally decided to be the bitch she is and start more shit. 

Payton, Jenna, Tyler, Kiana, Alexander and myself drove home in sheer silence. No one needed to say anything. Payton had fell asleep in my arms after she finished crying and I carried her up to her room. I took off her dress and put my t-shirt on her. I climed in bed with her and just held her close to me. She cuddled closer into me and I smiled. 

"I promise Payton, no one will ever hurt you again. I'll always protect you." 

This has been the longest Sunday ever. I thought to myself.
