S. M. 》Avoiding You

"Y/N!" I heard my friend, Kiana, screamed. I turned around and she ran to me.

"Whoo, Shawn wants to talk to you" she said while trying to regain her breath.

"Tell him I'm busy" I said and her eyebrows knotted while she gave me the 'the fuck is your problem' look.

"You already did your assignments and everything. Now, talk to him" she told me and I shook my head.

"I. Don't. Like" I said to her with dead eyes and she rolled her eyes. "Fine" she groaned and started walking away from me.

"Why don't you like to talk to him?" Kiana asked while we're eating. I swallowed the food that I'm chewing inside my mouth and looked at her.

"Because I don't want to" I said simply and she rolled her eyes. "I mean, specifically what's the reason?" She asked me and I sighed.

"He just changed a lot..." I paused with a sigh. "He's dating someone and- I don't want to talk about it" I said and there is a sadness in her face.

"He spends a lot more time with her and..... everything changed" I said and looked at the ceiling, trying to control my tears from falling.

"We used to go at his house and watch movies. We used to hangout with each other all the time... it's all we used to" I said and a tear fell on my cheek.

"Don't cry" she comforted me and squeezed my hand. I looked at her and she gave me a smile.

"Let's go back at our room" she said and I nodded. While we're walking at the hallway, I saw Shawn.

I quickly looked at the ground while Kiana pulled her lips inside. I can feel Shawn looked at us.

Kiana stopped and I continued walking when someone grabbed me from my wrist causing me to turn around.

I bumped into a muscular chest and I inhaled a familiar perfume. I pulled away and it's Shawn.

I looked at the tiles and pulled a bit of my hair and tug it behind my ear. I sighed and he spoke up.

"Why are you avoiding me for a week already?" He asked me and I can hear the madness in his voice. I took a deep breath and looked at him.

"I'm just busy.." I lied and he rolled his eyes. "I saw your pictures on Instagram, you're hanging out with your friends" he said and my eyes widens while I gulped.

I'm dead. "Tell me, why the hell are you avoiding me?" He asked once more.

"I-I just- I don't know how to explain it to you" I said and I saw Kiana at his back.

"Then you will" he said and picks me in a bridal style. "Kiana!" I screamed and she just let me go with Shawn.

"Stop screaming. Maybe they'll think that I'm going to rape you" he said and I slapped his arm.

He opened his car and let me sit down on the passenger seat. He sat on the driver's seat and faced me.

"Now, explain" he said and I shook my head. "Just say it, Y/N" he sighed and I rolled my eyes.

"We used to hangout with each other, we used to go each other's houses in the middle of the night, we used to go home and go to school with each other... it's all we used to" I said and a tear fell on my cheek as I sniffed.

"Everything changed when you started dating someone. You don't have time for me anymore and it feels like I'm nothing already to you. That's why I avoided you.."

"I have feelings for you because I thought all those times has a meaning" I cried quietly.

"I- I love you.... Shawn" those words slip out of my mouth. His face softens as he saw me crying infront of him.

I wiped the tears from my cheeks and eyes using a tissue. I looked at him and he's looking at me for a long time.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know" he sighed and looked at his seat. I just nodded and pulled my lips inside.

"I need to go... I have a class" I said and he grabbed my hand causing me to feel butterflies around my stomach.

"Your teacher is absent so no need to worry about. Let's talk about this and fix this" he said.

"There's nothing to fix, Shawn. Let's just leave this broken..." I sighed and tears are falling from my eyes without even noticing it.

"What do you mean leave it broken?" He asked me with confusion.

"Just like what you did to my
heart..." I whispered to myself and he sighed.

"I need to go, maybe Kiana is finding me already" I said and I'm about to open the car door when he grabbed my arm. I looked back at him in questioning eyes.

"I only dated her once and after that, we're not dating already" he said and my eyebrows knotted in confusion.

"What? I don't get it" I told him and he sighed. He rested his forehead at the wheel and close his eyes.

"Because I love you" he breathed. My eyes widens and my lips parted. I don't know if I'll scream or cry.

"I love you too okay? I realized that while I'm dating her, it's not that fun when I'm with you" he said after lifting his head and look at me.

"You make me happier than she can. By talking to you and talk about random stuffs makes me smile everyday.... sounds cheesy but true" he chuckled a little while I blushed.

"I-I don't know what to say, Shawn" I said with a smile on my face. "Would you go on a date with me? I really want to fix this" he pouted and he knows I can't resist on that one.

"Aside from that, I want to be with you" he said and I pulled my lips inside. I'm blushing crazily. I kissed him on his cheek and he blushed. He looked at me with widened eyes.

"Take that as a yes" I chuckled and he bit his lip while smiling. He hugged me and kissed me on the forehead.

"Let's go back to our classroom" he said and I chuckled while nodding my head.
