Chapter 16 : A date ?!!!

After the concert you were sitting in the changing room of the TFBOYS. You were inside a cartoon box to be exact. You didn't quiet get the idea of you being in a box was helpful for Karry. Roy only said that it will make Karry happy. So you agreed. You couldn't even see his concert. You were pouting and in your own imaginative world. You played with the hem of your dress waiting for someone to come and open the box. The dress you wore was given by Roy. He had asked you to wear it and come early today.

You sighed a bit and heard people come in the dressing room. "She said she was here... But she didn't come... " one voice said. "Don't worry... Cheer up. " the other voice comforted. "I wished I could see her today... It's my birthday... " the first voice continued. It was karry's voice. He wanted to see a girl? Who?  You were totally confused. "Well, don't worry again and I've got a present for you.... " one voice trialled off. It was Roy's. You straightened your dress and stood carefully and quietly not to make a mess. "Is my present this box? " Karry asked. He was probably pointing at the box. "Yup, it is. Now go open it. I know you'll love it. " he continued. I heard footsteps ,walking towards me. Karry was opening the box . You closed your eyes shut. Finally you felt light strike your eyes. You knew that he had opened the box. "Was..... Wait... What are you doing here?  How long have you been here? And she's my present? " Karry asked looking really confused and with a worried expression. "Yes.... I am you present I guess.... And I guess I've been there for some time.... What's the time now?  " you asked looking innocent."it's 11:30am" Karry replied. "Oh.... Okay" you said looking down at the floor . You were in the box for maybe 1 and a half hour?  But you knew he would be mad at innocent Roy so you didn't say anything. "Um......Karr--.... Um...xiao... Here... Happy 17th birthday" you said taking out a small gift box from your bag and gave it to him. "T-thank you" he said smiling and took the present. "Now... How did you like my present? " Yuan asked smiling lime an idiot. "Um... No comments" was all that Karry said. You were wondering why. You remembered what you heard.

She said she was here... But she didn't come... " one voice said. "Don't worry... Cheer up. " the other voice comforted. "I wish I could see her today... It's my birthday..."

"He was probably expecting another person.... " you said softly looking down at the ground but you didn't realise that you said it aloud. "Oh... Oh.... " was all Roy said. You looked up and saw Karry look at you with those beautiful pair of Dark brown eyes, his orbs . You blinked and noticed that it was really awkward and silent. "Sorry. ..." You muttered and looked down at the ground. "N-no.... You don't need to be sorry...." Karry said smiling. You looked up and smiled back. "So...Xiao get ready fast. You got a date with (y/n) today" Roy said. "H-huh? !!!" Both of you said together you were somehow surprised. "Well I didn't work hard for nothing. So Xiao get ready now or I'll send Qian Xi with (y/n)  instead. " Yuan said. "N-nooo... I'll change now" Karry said and quickly went to get changed.

"(Y/n)  thanks. I'm sorry for putting you in that box. But it was a surprise for Xiao... " Yuan said smiling and rubbing his neck. "noo.... You don't need to apologise. It's okay. Glad I could help" you said smiling."thanks again. I owe you a lot. " Yuan said again smiling. "By the way (y/n) and Yuan, Xiao is ready so you should get going" Qian said smiling. You nodded. "Let's go? " Xiao told you and you nodded.

"So.... You didn't get to see the performances did you? " he asked you. "No... I couldn't but, I'll watch it online. I promise" you said smiling. "And a Very Happy Birthday again" you said smiling. "Thanks a lot and thanks for this too" he said gesturing to the hoodie he was wearing. It was a Prince of tennis hoodie. He loved anime. "Your welcome, I hope you like it" you smiled at him. "I don't like it I love it. It's really nice and thoughtful of you. Thank you so much " he said while smiling."you're welcome" you quickly replied. "So.... Let's go somewhere to eat first? "He asked looking at you. Your stomach grumbled as if in cue. Your face flashed red instantly, you were really embarrassed. "O-okay.... I'm sorry.... " you said while you still looked down on the floor. "It's fine" he replied while smiling. He took out his mask and wore it since both of you were practically walking. "There is a great place where you get the best cakes and bubble tea. Wanna go? " he asked you. You remembered that place. It was where you and Roy met yesterday to discuss about his favour and the cakes were like heaven. You smiled and nodded. After walking for a bit, you noticed the cafe. There weren't many people there as in now. You entered the cafe and a familiar lady greeted you. It was Marie, she helped you escape the fans yesterday.
"Oh.... Xiao welcome and (y/n)  am I right? " she asked giving you a warm welcome smile and asked. "Yup, it's me. Hello" you said smiling and bowed a 90°."it's good to see you again" she said. It was getting awkward. "You came here before? " Junkai asked at me confused. "Yeah...for your birthday surprise? " o
