Chapter 31 : White Day

Karry's POV

It's been more than a month since that valentines day incident and my feelings for (y/n) have grown deeper .
I had gotten the chocolates from (y/n)  on valentine's day, it was not directly but I did get them.

"Kai gege, I need to give you something " Mercy said giving me a huge grin. I could see Jackson shooting daggers at me. "Uh.... Okay what is it? " I asked unsure. "Deng Deng Deng Deng!  " she said handing me a small paper bag. "This is? " I questioned. "It's the cupcakes (y/n)  made for you for Valentine's day. I know she may forget to give you this when she wakes up and maybe it'll be late so I'm passing it to you from her or she'll feel bad about it. " she said smiling. I could feel the atmosphere lighten as Jackson was not throwing daggers at me anymore. "Oh.... Thank you " I replied and took the small bag. She gladly smiled and went inside the room.

I had gone down to the kitchen and tasted the cupcakes. They were amazing. I didn't know that (y/n) was such a good cook. "Maybe I should ask her to cook for me someday or the other " I thought to myself.

End of flashback ~

I was sitting on my bed and thinking about what to give to (y/n) when Roy and Jackson bursted inside the room. "Xiao!!!!! We've got a huge, when I mean huge, I mean a mega big problem" he said trying to catch his breath. "What's the matter? " I asked sitting up on the bed. "The day after tomorrow is white day and we have to return the affections we got on valentine's day, so what on Earth will we do?! Just think about it,too many people to return it to. So many that my head is starting to hurt." He said touching his forehead. "Aish, this guy, don't worry. We'll think of a solution. Qian any idea? " I asked looking at him since he looked like he was in deep thoughts.

"How about we make a video for the fans? Like singing a romantic song, thanking them for all the warm wishes they gave us on valentine's day? " he replied. "How can you come. Up with such good ideas? " Roy commented. I could not agree more. "Uh... I'm not sure. But what do you guys think about it? "He asked. "Well..... I'm not sure. It just pops up" he said.

So it was decided that we would be doing a video for the fans. "Hey guys I wanna ask something from you guys, I wanted to give (y/n)  something for white day..... What should I give her? " I asked being unsure. Since Jackson gave the best ideas, I asked. "Well how about you take her out on a date and get the best time to, confess? " he said. "H-uh-?  Confess? Isn't it too soon? " I asked trying to digest what he just said.

"Yes, confess. Kai you should know this better than us. Confess before its too late. You won't find anyone else like her, she brings out the best in you and if you miss this chance you won't get another one like this. The whole world knows about your feelings just you are unaware of it. Tell what's deep in your heart before she goes to, someone else " he finished speaking. I don't know why but he was always had a way to convince me to do something. "Uh.... Okay... " was all I said.

After they left the room, I was wondering if I should confess to her or not. I didn't want to lose her and our friendship the moment I confess. Maybe she'd like me only as Karry and not Wang Junkai and I'd end up losing her. But on the other hand if I didn't confess, I'd be a Coward as I wasn't able to let my real feelings out. I wanted to take things slow, but during this time if she goes to someone else, I'd never be able to forgive myself.
So I had decided to find my courage and confess to her tomorrow.

Author's POV

It was evening time, you were looking outside the window thinking about some things.

Tomorrow was white day and it had put you in a difficult and confusing position. Mercy had told you that sue had delivered the cupcakes to Karry and that too personally. You had totally forgotten about those cupcakes until she told you. You were happy that she delivered them to him but you were also worried about if he would like them. But your worries were all gone when he texted you and said those were extremely tasty .
