Chapter 21 : Going back

Karry's pov:

Today I was finally going back home. The stay in NY was short but it was a memorable one. I became closer to Luhan gege and Sis Tian. Our cast took a last photo together before we had to go.

I packed my bags and was waiting for luhan gege. We were an hour and a half early. I thought we could hang out for a while. He came out holding two paper bags. Here, take one. He said as he threw one towards me. "What's this? " I asked confused. "It's a gift from me to you. Keep it as a remembrance from me to you. " He said. I was surprised. "And here take this" he said as he gave Sis Tian the other bag. "Thanks" she replied and smiled . " Let's go" she said and we both nodded. As we went out, the car was already waiting for us and we put our luggages inside. I took a photo of the night sky. We got inside the car. Me ,manager gege, luhan gege and sis yang Mi sat in one car. I logged into weibo and went to our group chat. It was around 10:30 pm here so it would be around 10:30 am there in China. I sent the photo and typed a message.

"I'm coming back tonight. I hope both of you are doing g well and practicing well? I'll see ya soon. "

I went to (y/n)'s weibo and messaged her. "I'll be leaving NY tonight. Going to the airport now. See ya soon? " I typed and send.

It was quiet boring without the two of them and even without talking much with (y/n), I felt somehow lonely and I was missing home. Mom and dad. I had spoken with them before today and told them I would be coming tonight

Manager gege came into my room to check if I was done packing. He was surprised on how quick I was done with my packing. "Excited to go back? " gege asked. "Yosh! I miss home " I said and laid on my bed."okay get read were leaving now" he said and I quickly got up and carried my back bag and my small luggage. I went out with gege. I saw Sis Tian standing there with gege Luhan. They both smiled looking at me. Brother Matt, he gave us all a hug . "Have a safe journey. We'll meet soon and Xiao I know you'll do great in the future so work hard. fighting" he said making a fist in the air. "Fighting" I mimicked and smiled.

Our luggages were kept inside the car. Gege, me, Luhan gege and sis Tian sat in the same car. The airport was a 15 minute drive from the hotel we were staying in. I logged into my weibo my notification was going to explode so many notifications. Mostly fans. I scrolled down and went to (y/n)'s weibo account. She had posted a photo of her and Alice. She looked pretty, it was near a park. I smiled and downloaded the picture. I plugged in the ear piece and played some songs, it was the theme song of One Piece.
After driving for about 15 minutes we reached the airport. It was tiring. "Let's go" manager gege said. As we stepped outside we saw a couple of fans holding their camera. They started shouting my name. Good thing the guards were there to protect us or else, I'd be squished by the crowd. Finally we reached our destination.
It was busy. Since we had to wait for a while, I scanned the airport. It was squeaky clean, the people were unusually calm, but there were fans in front of me, trying to take my picture. "Keep calm xiao.... And maintain a good posture... Or there won't be any good photos.. " I told myself. "Passengers travelling to Beijing please board the plane. " the announcer said. We quickly got up and went. As I settled down, I was finally at peace. It was quiet. "I'm finally going back home. " I told myself, I was gonna miss NY but there was no place like home. NY was the first place I visited out of Asia. I've usually been to only Asian countries but it was an amazing experience as I recalled our trip to Taipei and Taiwan. It was really a memorable one. I took out my phone and watched an anime move called " Spirited Away" . It was an amazing movie but I wanted a part 2 of the movie.

After 2 hours.
I was finally done with the movie. I really really wanted a part 2 of the movie, I checked online if there would be one but unfortunately there wasn't. So I started to read some fan made stories, fanfics to b exact. There was one spirited away season 2 in a site called fanfiction.net , that story was really good. It felt like a movie, the way the author wrote it. It was really really good. It was almost morning by the time I finished so I decided to sleep. I was really tired.
