Chapter 20: Photoshoot

Karry's pov:

I slowly opened my eyes. The curtains were closed . I gave a yawn and woke up. I looked at the time and it showed that it was 5:30 am. "Ah..... Junkai get some rest. You have a big day today. " I said to myself as I tried to get some rest. I went back to bed trying to get some sleep but couldn't. I rolled around in the medium sized bed. I got up and opened the curtains, the sun was just beginning to rise. It would be around 5 pm in China.  I thought to myself. As I got up ,my phone buzzed. I checked the caller ID and it was from Roy. It was on Skype. I quickly picked it up. It was both Yuan and Qian xi. "Heyo!!! Xiao!  How are you? We miss you.!!!! Did you even remember us? " Yuan half shouted. "Hey!  Chill dudes. I missed you guys too. But last night we had an interview so I couldn't call and I did message you guys when you in weibo, in our group chat. You didn't see? " I asked frowning. "Oooo" the both chorused together. "We didn't check. We're really sorry but I hope the interview went well? And any plans today? " Yuan asked. "I have a photo shoot today" I said. "Whut? ! This late? " he continued asking. "It's 5 am in the morning here. " I asked. "Oh... Here it's 5 pm. We have a difference of 12 hours. We're 12 hours ahead right Xiao? " Qian asked and I nodded my head. "So, I'll be coming back by this week so let's hang out? " I asked and they both nodded. "Xiao, see you later. We have to practice. We miss you!  Don't forget to buy suviners for us!  Love you! " Yuan said. "Haha. ..okay see you soon. Practice hard and don't slag off" I said and both nodded. The call ended. After the call ended the room was silent. I stepped out into the small balcony for a while. The sun was rising up. The whole city looked amazing. I took a photo of it. I went back in and since I had nothing to do, I went online and messaged (y/n). It would be night time there.

"Hey? I hope your okay. Wanted to say, good morning from New York. 😊 I'm guessing that it's night time there right? So good night and sweet dreams. I've send a photo of the sunrise . I hope you got good photos of mine? 😂😂 just kidding. But sleep well and take care of yourself. Good night and sweet dreams again. "

I finished typing and send it go her. I kept the phone and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. It was 6:30 am by then. As I came out I saw Gege standing outside the door. "Good morning Xiao." He said. "Morning gege" I replied. As I got out he went in. I went inside my room and changed my clothes. I took my phone and went out my room I saw my manager sitting outside. "Good morning Xiao. I hope the interview was okay. Actually I came here because you have a photo shoot today. Sorry for informing you on the spot. Last night you were busy so I didn't disturb you. " he said looking at me. "Ah... That's okay. It's fine. " I replied. "So let's go we'll stop by Starbucks for a drink . My treat?" he said getting up from the spot and walked out. "Come on, hurry up or I won't buy you any" he shouted. I quickly ran. " Of course I would run because who wouldn't want free food? " I told myself.

We reached Starbucks and luckily there weren't many people there so me and gege ordered our food and went out. The chocolate drink was really nice. It had chunks of Oreo in it and topped with vanilla and strawberry cream . I ordered a large one. Gege didn't prefer much. He just ordered a banana milkshake. "So... What's this photo shoot about? " I asked sipping my drink. "Well your gonna be kinda advertising some clothes for a brand. Not gonna say which but it's a luxury brand. " gege said. I was really curious about it.
"Ah... " was all I could answer. I took out my phone and took a photo of my drink . "What are you doing? " gege asked. "Taking a photo of the drink and food . To show Yuan and Qian xi. " I said smiling. I knew Yuan would whine about it 😆. I quickly opened weibo and send the photo in our group chat.

After finishing the drinks and food we headed to work. It was around 8 am by then. I changed my clothes and the hair was all done and was waiting for the photographer when my phone buzzed. I looked at my phone and it was a message from (y/n). I opened the message.
"Hey!  Good morning? Sorry for the late reply. I was up studying for a test. 😭. And the sunset is really really pretty, your so lucky. Here it's 10 pm right now. So I'm gonna be going to sleep gotta wake up early tomorrow. And good night from Sydney! See ya tomorrow!  Take care" [photo]
