Today was the big day for Mercy and you were really excited for it too . He had proposed her last year at the end of February and it was a really beautiful moment. When you got the news about the proposal you were over the moon, "I'm so happy for the both of you " you told her. They had dated for four years before he popped the question to her, and it was a defined yes. And the guy was also really lucky to get a girl like Mercy as his wife. She'd make the perfect wife for him. Man, it was tiring, you remember how much encouragement it took for Jackson to even ask her out because he was really nervous - he was in the believe that she liked someone else. But boy he was wrong - " Yes.... I love you too idiot, I'm surprised you never noticed my feeling " was the reply she gave while chuckling a bit. But the reality was that both their feelings were obvious but it was only they who were unknown to their feelings.
You were at the wedding venue currently doing the last minute checking for any flaws in the decorations and all. She had asked you for help and you couldn't say no, you happily agreed to do it. The flowers and all the arrangement looked perfect, they were getting married at 9:30 am and it was only 7:00 am now. You came early to check up on things to make sure that everything was okay because you wanted everything to be perfect for her - she was after all like a little sister to you. " Place these flowers there and those ones there " you said pointing at the flowers. The venue itself was very beautiful and enormous - maybe close to a thousand people could be in. There were lights hanging from the ceiling and flowers were everywhere. The entrance to the venue was simple, it had a party with burgundy roses on the side ways. The tables had been nearly and elegantly set, 14 people could accommodate one table and there were quite a few of there tables.
Looking at the wrist watch you noticed that it was already 8 now and he wedding was at 9 am. "Gege, can you manage the things here? I have to go back now " you said as you looked at him. "Sure you can go " he replied. You thanked him and made your way towards the car - yes you had learned how to drive now. You got in the car and started to drive towards the apartment. You were going to get ready at your parent's place for today, well you've been staying there for the last two nights because it was closer to the wedding venue from your house . After about 15 minutes of driving you reached the apartment, after parking the car you made your way to the apartment. "Ma, I'm back " you said as you entered the house ."sweetie, what took you so long? " she asked as she came out from the room. She had already dressed up ."I had to make sure everything was okay so it took a little longer then expected. I'll go change " you said as you made your way towards your old room.
You quickly changed your clothes. You wore a pastel pink dress which was just above your knees and wore peach coloured heels. You decided to let your hair loose and wore nude makeup. You were really thankful that you had used a face mask last night or your face wouldn't be in a very good condition. You carried your side bag and went out of the room."Ma, I'll be leaving first " you said as you went out of the apartment. You had to go together with the bride so you went to Mercy's apartment. You knocked at the door and her mother opened the door, "oh dear, you're here. Mercy's in her room and you look lovely " she said smiling. You thanked her and went into the room. She wore an off shoulder dress with was deep Burgundy coloured dress and her hair was loose with a few soft curls. "You're here " she said as she let you in. You look at the bride sitting there, she turned back looking at you. "Youreeeee hereee !!" She said beaming brightly. "Yeah, you look beautiful " you said sitting down on the bed. "Thank you and so do you. " she smiled. Her hands fiddled with her veil, she was getting those bridal jitters. "Nervous? " you asked looking at her, "very" her reply came. "Don't worry everything's gonna be okay. It's your fairytale " you said smiling she smiled back in response. She looked absolutely stunning, the dress looked like it was specially made for her . You talked for a while about things and how time had passed by so quickly. "Mercy, it's time to go " her mother said from the other side of the door. You three looked at each other and stood up, "it's time " you said and she nodded her head smiling.
