Karry's pov :

'Today's our 8th anniversary..... So I wanted to do something special for her. What should I do? " I asked myself stretching my head . She was so special to me - she was like a part of me that I never had thought I would find. She always made me smile even when I was upset of felt down. "Dude, how about taking her for a drive? Like a long drive? You've got your driver's licence didn't you? " Roy asked cocking his head towards me. 'Yes I did get my driver's licence but i was somehow nervous about this idea. "Yeah, it's not bad like you can take her out for a small picnic alone? " Jackson replied. All three of us were in Jackson's room, well we were hanging out. "That's not bad. But let me think about where to take her " I replied. "You can also just call her here and have a movie Marathon, i believe it'll also be a good one. Me and Jackson will both be busy tomorrow and your schedule is free Tomorrow isn't it? " Roy asked looking at me. "Hm.... That's not bad. I guess that's okay. I wonder what type of movies she'd like " I told saying the last sentence in a soft whisper to myself .

"So.... What do you do on during a movie Marathon? " I asked the both of them jerked towards my direction, "dude you don't know? " Roy asked, I shrugged my head. I really didn't know what it actually meant. "Bro, you sit on the couch or on the bed, and watch movies together with food surrounding you " Jackson replied quoting the food surrounding you part with his fingers. "Hm.... " was all I said. I was wondering what kind of movies would be watching. "I'll go to the store once " I told them and went to my room to get my wallet and my phone. As I went to the door someone knocked on the door. I looked at the watch, it was 9:30 am. "Who can be here at thus hour" I told myself as I peeped from the camera. It was my mother. I quickly opened the door and the moment she saw me, she engulfed me into a warm hug.

"Kaikai, it's been a while how have you been? " she said. "Yes, it had. I missed you a lot too. But what bring you here? " I asked, i was surprised by her sudden visit. "Honestly, I came here to give you a surprise visit " she said giving a radiant smile. "That's sweet of you ma, why don't you come in and take rest, I think it must have been a tiring journey " I said taking her bag and leading her inside. "It was a little bit but - KAIKAI ! (y/n) she lives around here doesn't she? " she asked suddenly turning towards me, I nodded my head unsure of why she asked such a question. "That's great! Can you call her over for dinner tonight? I really want to meet her and also I was going to cook dinner so... Please ask her to come to have dinner and also I'll make something tasty for you boys so tell Yuan and Qian xi too okay?" she said as she made her way into the kitchen. "Okay... " was all I said.

"And kai can you run an errand for me? Can you buy the things written in the list? " she said giving me a list. It had been a while since I did some chores for my mom. "And I'll be coming so -" before she could finish I cut her off, "ma, its fine. You can take rest, you'll be tired ". "My, my kai has grown up so much. okay you go and don't forget to tell her to come for dinner okay? " I simply nodded my head. I went out of the dorm after carrying my wallet and phone. I wore a jacket over my hoodie as it was really cold but it wasn't snowing yet - I wondered why.

I was really nervous about her meeting my mom because when it comes to me, my mom could be called a little protective especially when to comes to the girl I chose as my future. Maybe it is a Little too early to decide my future but it was the truth - I did really want to spend my future with (y/n) that was the plan and I intend to keep it.
