Cassie's P.O.V

The day finally finished and I waited for Maddie we usually walked home together. I looked around the place and found no Maddie as yet. What I did see was the boy I bumped into this morning. He was walking to an older boy probably in his twenties, he had the same features as the boy I bumped into this morning, they were probably brothers.

I need to find out his name and stop calling him the boy I bumped into this morning. Maybe tomorrow he'll be the boy I bumped into yesterday morning.

Before I had time to think about it, Maddie tapped me on the shoulder startling me.

"Let's go," she told me and we started walking.

We walked and walked. Even though we were supposed to be heading home, it felt like we were walking in no particular direction.

But eventually we reached Maddie's house and I was left walking home alone.

*Fifteen Years Ago*

Drave's P.O.V

I charged into battle with my older sister, Athelia.

Explosions still shook the ground and I was a little hesitant to go onto the battlefield, I was worried about Lyris. I wondered how her journey to Earth would turn out.

I also really wondered whether this battle was because of my father. The father who I never knew, left me to fight a war he created. I never knew what happened to my father, all I knew was he left his kingdom, my siblings, my mother and me to fight a stupid war (or at least that's what my mother said and I believe her), he was the reason why Lyris wasn't here right now.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize I was standing in the middle of a battlefield while Athelia was busy fighting.

I charged against the Vatlans (the people we were fighting) and fought for my kingdom, fought for my mother, Druim, my younger brother who was older than Lyris and refused to leave, Athelia and most importantly Lyris. I wasn't going to lose Radon today or ever but I had no idea how wrong I was about that statement.

*Present Day- Earth*

Cassie's P.O.V

I finally arrived at home and was greeted by the smell of homemade lasagna, one of my favorites.

I raced upstairs, freshened up and was going to come back down when I saw a familiar face outside my window.

It was the boy I bumped into this morning (still need to get his name, I know) and who I thought was his brother outside my front door.

I couldn't have been more shocked to see them of all people, they didn't even know me then I thought maybe there not even here to see me. They're probably here for my dad, he has this huge company and they're probably here for a job or internship or something but I wasn't convincing myself.

So I did what any curious crazy person would do. I tiptoed down the steps and eavesdropped on their conversation, well it wasn't really eavesdropping, it was more like listening to their conversation and they didn't know I was there. So yeah eavesdropping.

"We're here to see Ly, I mean Cassie Munroe," the boy I bumped into this morning told my parents, "We, I mean I go to her school, this is my older brother Drave and I'm Druim."

"Yes, of course, come inside, I'll call her," my mother told them.

"Cassie," my mom called me.

I ran down the steps, trying to look like I didn't expect her to call me.

"Yeah," I answered when I reached down.

My mom pointed towards the two boys.

"Oh yeah, them."

Okay, I felt kinda stupid. First of all, I didn't even know their names or who they were but they knew my name and apparently where I live. How, I have no clue but I wanted to find out. I also wanted to find out why they looked so much like me.

"Come on," I said gesturing to my room and they followed me up.

As soon as I reached out of earshot from my parents I asked every question I had in my head since they showed up at my doorstep.

"Who are you?"

"How do you know my name?"

"How do you know where I live?"

"Do you know me?" I asked all at once, not even waiting for them to answer after each question I asked.

The two boys looked at me incredulously.

"I'm my name is Druim," the younger boy answered, "You mind repeating the rest of questions."

"Um, first of all how do you know my name and what kind of a name is Druim?"

The older one looked at me a hint of annoyance on his face. "To answer your first question, this is my younger brother Druim, you really don't need to know who I am. Fourth question, yes we know you but you don't know us."

This guy has some serious nerve. He's in my house, in my bedroom I don't even know his name yet here he is feeling like he has control over what I should and shouldn't know. Who does he think he is.

"Um," Druim started, "Can I have a minute with my brother, alone."

Oh yeah because I'm going to leave two strangers who I never met in my life stay in my room by themselves, for all I know their thieves.

"Yes," I responded and wanted to know what I was thinking.

I stood up in the same spot as I was always standing and me and the two boys had a mini staring contest until I finally said "Right, yes, I'll leave you two alone."

And I closed the door and let them talk alone. I still couldn't believe I said yes to two strangers to talk alone in my room despite my brain saying no.

What was I thinking.
