I jump out from the corner, and face the dragon.

''Hey, big guy! Now listen, I don't want any trouble, and-''

It stomps towards me, swings one of its arms, and bats me into the air. I hit a wall, and fall to the ground.

''Oh, it is so on!'' There goes my good mood!

I run at it, pulling out my sword, and swing as hard as I can. I hit it's leg, and the leg crumbles. The dragon stumbles, and hits a wall, causing more bones to fall off. It lets out a deafening roar, and gets back up, it's bones fusing back onto its body. Why do they always have to fix themselves?...

''I could use a little help here, Elizabeth!'' I yell over to her.

''Oh, sorry. Coming!'' She runs next to me.

I shoot water at the dragon, but its fire refuses to extinguish. It just lights back up, the moment I stop, and it just seems to make the dragon more angry.

''Well, that didn't work. Any ideas?'' I ask.

''Find a weak spot. There must be some type of weak spot!''

''And if there isn't?''

''Shut up! Let's just do this!''

I shoot water at it again, because it seems to slow it down, while Elizabeth searches for a weak spot. I start to tire out, and my magic grows weaker. The dragon blows fire at me, and I'm not fast enough to dodge. Quickly, I create a barrier, but it only lessens the burns.

''Nicholas! Are you okay?!'' Screams Elizabeth.

No.

''Yeah, I'm fine...''

''That's good! I think I found a weak spot!'' She says excitedly, as I watch her dodge one of the dragons blasts of fire.

''Where?''

''On its neck! There's a bone where the fire doesn't burn! Perhaps if I hit it...''

It's a desperate idea, but it's so desperate, it might work...

''I'll distract it, you throw one of your knives at it! And Elizabeth?''

''Yeah?''

''Don't miss.''

I slowly get up, as she distracts it from me, then I return the favour by distracting it from her. I hit it with all the magic I've got. A flood of water slams into the dragon, and for a second, its fire dies. It slows down, as it's swept into a wall by the water. I see Elizabeth grab one of her knives and line up the throw. She takes a breath, and throws. And... It misses... The dragon roars back to life, and slams through the water towards us.

''I'm so sorry!'' Screams Elizabeth, as she rushes to me, and we rush away. We hit a dead end, and turn around, facing the dragon once again. It rears back, and Elizabeth readies one of her knives to throw. It's all or nothing, right now.

The dragon's about to blow fire at us, ending it all, when Elizabeth throws, and it hits its target. Right on the little neck bone. It shatters, and the dragon shrieks. Its fire fades, as it stumbles towards us. One by one all the bones fall, until all remnants of the beast lie in a heap around us.

''We're alive...'' Whispers Elizabeth, clearly shocked.

''I'm tired of these caves. Let's get out of here.''

I turn around, and blow the rock in front of us. Sure enough, like I suspected, light shines through, and I blast it again, creating an exit out of here.

''Finally, out of here. All these bones give me the creeps, anyways.''

Elizabeth rushes towards me and wraps me in a hug.

''I thought we were going to die in there,'' she says, breaking down in emotion. I hold her, surprised at her quick change of emotion. Finally, she lets go, and we face the next obstacle in front of us.

Trees. Millions of them. In front of us is a huge forest. What lurks in it, I wonder?

''Sleepy Forest, here we come...'' I say, as we climb down the rocky edge, and down to the forest below...
