Age of Darkness

Author's Note

After four years of planning, and nine months of writing, the first book of the Age of Darkness series has been completed.

I feel pretty accomplished, while a little sad that it's completed, because I truly enjoyed writing this book. It's like my favourite child of my imagination.

I mean, I started planning this series at the beginning of Grade Six, three and a half years ago. At first, it was a wayyy shorter version of this first book. Nothing really similar. Then, by the end of Grade Seven, I had a original trilogy planned. By the end of Grade Eight, I had a sequel to the trilogy planned, and began this very book. Now, as I finish this first one, I'm toying with a prequel.

The next book will be Age of Darkness: The Jewel of Time, a shorter book than this one, more of a leader up to the events of future books.

Then Age of Darkness: Timeless, the final book in the originl trilogy.

The sequel to the trilogy shall be Age of Darkness: The Greater Evil

And the prequel shall be titled Age of Darkness: Zirkon's Story, a short book that chronices the life of Zirkon, and dives into his past.

Basically, it's going to be a long journey to complete this series. Probably by the time I graduate, I may have it completed and editted.
