The music still blares through the hallways as I hurry along with Liam by my side. I feel like my head is heavy on my shoulders because of all the information I've been told. I hear yelling coming from the main entrance so I pick up the pace. When my eyes adjust to the blinking lights of different colours, I notice the four boys searching through the crowd. I shove my way through the sweaty bodies as they dance against each other. Hands grab for me but I pay no attention as I move towards Harry. Liam swats the hands from behind me as we move.
"Harry!" I yell over the crowd.
Harry's brown curls whip in my direction but he doesn't see me. He continues going through the crowd and walks outside slamming the doors behind him. I run after him and open the heavy doors. My eyes adjust once again to the dark as I try looking for a moving figure. I spot him a few feet away looking everywhere.
"Harry!" I scream. It sounds louder than when we were inside.
Harry stops and turns around looking back at the house. When his eyes meet mine, he doesn't waste any time standing where he is. He runs at me furiously and I'm honestly scared. I back up into Liam's chest.
"Juliette! Holy fuck Juliette!" He yells at me as he gets closer.
Just when I think he's going to pummel us both, he rips me out of Liam's grasp and analyzes me under the lights of the house.
"Are you okay?! Did anyone hurt you?" He says frantically looking from Liam to me.
He grabs my chin facing it up towards the light. I have to blink rapidly so my eyes don't burn. When he lets go, he gives me a hard stare.
He's covered in a layer of sweat probably because he was running in the hot house. It makes him look shiny under the light. His fists clench and unclench. A gesture that I've noticed he does when he's angry.
I think he's about to accuse me of eavesdropping when suddenly he walks away. I look back at Liam and hug him quickly before running off after Harry.
When I catch up to him he doesn't acknowledge me so I keep walking. We reach his car and get in quickly. Harry locks the doors and speeds off down the road. We take a left turn and swerve to the side of the road. I go flying forward and slam back into my chair when the seatbelt tightens.
"What the hell?!" I yell at him in shock.
"What did you hear Juliette?"
"What do you mean what did I hear?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. What did you hear?" He growls at me.
His hands grip the wheel as his knuckles turn white. He breathes heavily as he tries to control his anger.
"I didn't hear a thing." I say my voice getting higher.
"You didn't? Because Raphael doesn't believe that and absolute shit will go down. You need to tell me the truth."
"All I heard was that I'm not your girlfriend that's all. That you're not with me." I say honestly mimicking his voice.
"Oh...well um." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"Glad you trust me." I mumble sarcastically under my breath.
"Take me home." I suddenly declare.
"What?" Harry's taken aback by my sudden outburst.
"Take me home Harold." I say forcefully. It meant to come out as a joke because I finally know his full name and he always calls me Juliette but instead it came out accusing and angry.
