*Bonus Chapter*
His weakness.
Her Normal.
I hadn't cared too much about infidelity. I thought that I would be the kind of girl that would fall for a guy, who was completely in love with me.
Body, mind and soul.
But then I saw the way he looked at her.
It wasn't blatant staring.
It was soft, and subtle.
That's probably why I'd never noticed before...
It was this look in his eyes.
They may not be in a relationship now or ever in the future...
But they were together in the past. She'd always have that over him.
What they shared, I'd never be able to touch.
The bond they have, I can't ever reach.
It's not physical or just an emotion.
It was everything and nothing.
It just was.
No barrier. No dimension.
It was something only the both of them shared.
The rest of the world wasn't invited. - Zoey.

Jacques Richards walked back to the room in complete exhaustion. Meeting so many Alphas was exhausting. He plopped down in his chair and loosened his tie. There was a lot of things he knew he could beat Chase in, apparently drinking wasn't one of them. The guy drank like a sailor, and still managed so somehow be completely sober.
He took a deep breath to calm himself, from tomorrow he'd officially be getting involved with pack politics. This was kind of his last day as a silly teenager. From tomorrow his father would slowly give Jake all of his Alpha duties.
The door opened, and Sierra Jacobs walked in.
"Hey." Jake said, looking up and her and smiling. His mood already a little better. It was almost as if it was his body's reflex, to become happy whenever Sierra is around.
"Hey." She said, taking a deep breath and sighing.
Sierra had the longest day and in the last 24 hours she had one bomb after the other dropped on her. All she wanted right now was to feel a little normalcy. And Jake was just that, her normal.
It felt weird that people thought they were in love or a secret relationship.
They were best friends who enjoyed sex.
They had a bond only they could understand and also a mutual understanding. They would have sex, they would be friends, if they fell in love with someone else the other would accept it. The type of bond they shared couldn't be put into words. It was one only the both of them understood.
As Sierra walked towards him, she took of her earrings, heels and her necklace. She shook her head, finally not caring about what her hair looked like and then walked towards Jake.
He rested his hands behind his head, and looked up to her from where he was sitting.
"You know you didn't wish me on my birthday right? Didn't even get me a present." He said, smiling at her lazily. He didn't really care that she didn't wish him, but he loved teasing her.
