"You're the best!!" I screamed through the phone.

My brother Adam had just asked me to move in with him and his friends. In LA. And he expected me to say no.

"I know I am, Alex, no need to tell me," Adam said.

"You're an idiot. I've gotta go pack. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I said.

"Okay, see you later, love you," Adam said.

"K, love you too," I replied, hanging up.

I was really excited for tomorrow, mostly because I was going to get to see Mitch again.

I love my brother and all his friends, but I've always been really close to Mitch. We always text each other, even though I'm in Ohio and he's in LA.

I hate stupid Ohio.

All of my friends are all the way across the country. Great.

Before I put my music on so I could back, I texted Mitch to tell him the amazing news.

(M: Mitch, A: Alex)

A: GUESS WHAAAT!!!

M: What?

A: I'M MOVING TO LA!!!!

M: NO WAY!

A: YES WAY!

M: I can't wait to see you again!!

A: Me neither! I'm coming tomorrow!!

M: Tomorrow? That's awesome!

A: IKR! Hey, I gotta go pack, I'll see you tomorrow, okay?

M: K, bye!

I finished texting Mitch and I put my phone on the iHome.

I immediately put it on shuffle, throwing things into my suitcases while I was jamming out.

My mom already knew that I was going to LA, she didn't really care though because I was going to be with Adam.

When I was first born, our parents got divorced and Adam stayed in Seattle with our dad and I moved to Ohio with our mom. They kept us in contact with eachother, but our parents refused to talk to eachother.

I was packed and ready by 7:30 which was perfect timing to get ready for my 4 am flight.

My laptop and chargers were in my backpack and I was wearing my batman hoodie, black beanie, skinny jeans, and converse.

Mitch was going to pick me up from the airport tomorrow and I knew I wasn't going to be even remotely awake in the morning. I really needed to look good for Mitch, after all, it was the very first time I had seen him in real life in over a year.

And, I'll admit, I had a bit of a crush on him.

But I knew Adam wouldn't let me date him. Ever.

I crawled into my bed for the last time and put on my headphones. I closed my eyes and prepared for one of the busiest days of my life.

*TIME SKIP*

The next morning, my alarm went off at 3am, blaring Little Mix at full volume.

I groaned and switched off the alarm, standing up and dragging my suitcases behind me.

I was taking a taxi because I knew no one else would take me.

When I got to the airport, it was 3:30 and I almost immediately got onto the plane.

I fell asleep and was woken up by the sound of the pilot telling us we were landing.

Ten minutes later, I was getting off the plane.

Right after I got through the tunnel, I saw the only person on my mind at that moment.

I ran up to him and hugged him, he lifted me up and we spun in circles.

"I missed you," I said, smiling.

"I missed you too. I can't believe it's been over a year," Mitch smiled.

It felt good to be back with the people who accepted me.
