Leaving

A few hours later, I was hanging out with all of the guys on the tour bus. Kegan wasn't leaving my side, and neither was Ashton.

I was still pretty star struck, but I did a great job at hiding it from them.

"Alex? Its like, noon. How long has it been since you've slept?" Kegan asked, yawning.

"I dunno..... Like, 30 hours?" I shrugged, leaning on Ashton's shoulder.

"Go to sleep, godammit! I'm tired as fuck but I'm not sleeping til you do," She said.

"Yeah, c'mon Alex, get some sleep. I'm right here, you'll be alright," Ashton smiled.

"But....." I started, cutting myself off with a yawn. "I guess...."

"You can sleep in my bunk," Ashton said, standing up and guiding me towards the bunks.

"But Ashton.... I don't wanna sleep alone....." I muttered.

"You want me to lie down too?" He asked, looking down at me.

"Yes please," I yawned. I climbed into the bunk, Ashton right behind me.

We were laying in the bed awkwardly for a few minutes before I spoke up.

"Um.... Ash? Can you do me a favour?"

"Do you want me to leave? I mean, I will if you want-"

"No, please don't. Will you sing to me?" I asked softly.

"Yeah.... What song?"

"Anything."

"Um, okay.... Settle down with me...." He began.

Before he was done with the first verse, I was asleep. As much as I'd love to say that it was a peaceful sleep, it was anything but that.

"Alex? Alex, wake up," Ashton whispered, shaking me lightly. I opened my eyes quickly, hugging him tightly as soon as I saw him.

"What's wrong? You were literally shaking," He said, clearly concerned.

"Nightmares...." I breathed out.

"Aw no, come here," He frowned, opening his arms and pulling me towards him.

"What time is it?" I asked, barely even a whisper.

"It's like, 3am," He told me.

"I'm sorry I woke you up..." I said.

"It's alright, all that matters is that you're alright," He said quietly.

*LE TIME SKIP*

"They fell asleep like that.... Awe," Someone said, waking me up.

"Aww, they'd be so cute together," Another person said.

"Guys, leave them alone," Someone else said.

"Yeah, they hadn't slept in forever," Another person agreed.

I opened my eyes and saw Kegan, Michael, Luke, and Calum standing next to the bunk. I closed my eyes again, wanting more sleep.

"Guys, fuck off, she's still asleep," Ashton said sleepily.

"Ash, it's like 10am already, you guys have been asleep for almost 24 hours," Luke said.

"Yeah Ash, you're gonna have to leave her side at some point. Seriously, just because you have a crush on her doesn't mean you've gotta be next to her 24/7," Michael agreed.

"But I can be next to her for at least a few more hours, and I plan on doing that. If you have anything against that, then leave us alone, please and thank you," Ashton said. I heard the curtain shut and decided it would be a good time to open my eyes.

"Alex? Did we wake you up?" He asked, looking down at me.

I shook my head no, still too tired to talk. The two of us lied in Ashton's bunk for a while longer, thinking.

*MEANWHILE*

(This is back to the night that Mitch was kissing the girl and yeah.)

*Mitch's POV*

"Get in the car, we're going home. I'm not gonna discuss this in front of all of these people," Adam said, grabbing my sleeve and pulling me with him towards the car.

When we got back to the house, Adam had me sit on the couch while he stood and yelled at me. I ignored him, too busy dealing with my own mind yelling.

You fucking idiot, you ruined it all! You ruined her birthday and her life! You ruined your own life too! She's never gonna love you after this, and Adam's never gonna let you see her ever again either. You fucked up. You fucked up and it's never gonna be the same. And it's all because you got jealous of a couple of fucking idiots in a band she likes. You fucked up...

".... And like I said when you first started dating her, since you broke her heart, you're out of the house. For good this time. No more nice guy-" Adam ranted.

"I know! I fucking know! I fucked up and I can't fix it. Just stop yelling. I know what I'm gonna do, and it's the only way to make her happy," I cut him off.

"And what are you gonna do?"

"I'm leaving."

*BACK TO THE TOUR BUS, A FEW DAYS AFTER THE CLUB MISHAP*

*Alex's POV*

"Kegan! Can I borrow some more clothes?" I asked.

"Of course, but we've gotta stop at your house at some point, I mean, we go back on the road in two days," She reminded me.

"Don't remind me.... I don't want to go back....." I groaned.

"Well, we could figure out a way to get you to stay, you know, if you wanted," Liam chimed in.

"You're kidding, right?" I laughed. "There's no way in hell that'll happen."

"Not kidding. We could figure it out," Niall agreed.

"I'll call Paul," Louis said, going to the back and doing just that.

Ten minutes later, he came back, a huge smile on his face.

"You'd be on the 5sos bus, but as long as it's alright with you, you're welcome on the tour. There's only a couple more months left, but still," Lou smiled.

"I'll have to call Adam, and we'd have to stop at my house too. But other than that, I'm all in," I smiled at him.

I would do anything to get away from Mitch at this point.

We stopped by the house, and after talking to Adam for a few minutes, he agreed to let me go. I walked to my room and put anything and everything I cared about in a few bags, along with a bunch of my clothes. As I was walking down the steps, Hannah saw me.

"Alex? What're you doing?" She asked.

"I'm leaving."
