Good Girls

Later that night, after Alesa had left, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep before I even left the living room.

I woke up to someone, probably Mitch, carrying me up the steps.

"Mmm?" I groaned.

"Shh, I'm just taking you to bed, babe," Mitch whispered.

"Mmm," I answered.

"Yeah, I know you're tired. You've had 2 hours of sleep in the past 24 hours."

"Shh. No more talking. Just sleep," I yawned.

Mitch agreed and laid me down in our bed before climbing in next to me. Within seconds, I was fast asleep yet again.

*LE TYME SKEEP*

"Why do they sleep so fucking much?"

"I don't know babe, why do you talk in wierd voices so fucking much?"

I groaned and rolled over to face Mitch.

"Shhh, if we pretend to be asleep, they'll leave us alone," Mitch whispered, though it was barely audible.

Tyler and Hannah had come in our room and were arguing over what was more abnormal: Mitch and I sleeping a lot or Tyler doing wierd voices.

When Tyler didn't answer, Hannah said, "Exactly. Now, let them sleep. Normally I'd be all for waking them up, but I'm not in the mood for grouchy Alex."

I heard our door open and close again. I opened my eyes to see Mitch, his eyes still closed.

"Are they gone?" He mumbled.

"Yeah," I answered, yawning.

"Good. Cuz now, I get to remind you that your birthday is in a week."

"Huh, yeah, I guess it is."

"19. You know, I need to get you a present."

"No you don't you idiot. And I don't want a party, don't you even think of it."

"Yes I do and I wasn't planning a party."

"Good."

"But... I was thinking... Nevermind."

"Noo! Tell meee!"

"Nahhh, I'll make it a surprise."

"But I hate surprises!"

"You'll love this one. Just trust me."

"Fiiiiiiine..."

*TIME SKEEP TO ALEX'S BIRTHDAY*

"Alex!! Come on, get up!" Mitch called.

"Mitch! Why are you waking me up at 5 IN THE FUCKING MORNING?!" I asked.

"First off, its only 4:30. Second, it's your birthday and I have to give you your surprise."

"Ughhhhhhhh. Fine. But first, we're stopping at Starbucks."

"Already planned."

"You know me too well. Now, what clothes should I wear?"

"Anything and everything 5 Seconds of Summer or One Direction."

"I think I should be scared," I said as I stood up and got out my 5sos beanie and 'I Prefer the Drummer' tshirt. I got my skinny jeans with the 1D logo on the back pockets along with my 1D zip up hoodie. "Now what?"

"Well... I got posterboard... But I guess I have to tell you where we're going..."

"TELL ME."

"So uh... Remember how you were freaking out because One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer were going on your together again?"
