"No."

As soon as the door closed, I stared at Mitch.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I said, smiling creepily.

"Probably not," Mitch answered.

"Okay...? What are you thinking?"

"Two things. One, I'm hungry. Two, you're really pretty," Mitch said.

"Aw, and you can eat in a minute. First, we must use my idea."

"And what would that be?"

"TWO PERSON PARTY!!!!!!!!" I screamed. Thank God we had soundproof walls...

"YES!!" Mitch screamed in return.

I got my iHome out and put my phone on it.

Music started blasting through the speakers, starting with Punch-Drunk Love by The Summer Set.

Mitch ran to the kitchen and got 2 2-liters of Coke and a family sized bag of Doritos.

We continued our 'party', leaving a huge mess behind.

An hour and a half later, I decided I was tired and we ended the 'party'.

Instead, we watched movies in my room.

We cuddled up on my bed, watching all 8 Harry Potter movies.

About halfway through the 4th movie, I fell asleep in Mitch's arms.

*Mitch's POV*

Alex was asleep before the 4th movie ended. I remember watching the first few minutes of the 5th movie, but then I was out.

I was awoken hours later by the front door closing.

I heard the farmiliar noise of all the guys coming upstairs to go to bed. I checked my phone, it was 4 in the morning.

I ignored the noise, pulling Alex closer to me and falling back asleep.

*Adam's POV*

I ran around the house, trying to find Mitch or Alex.

No luck so far, so I walked up the stairs to see if they were in bed.

There was nobody in Mitch's room. That worried me.

I immediately checked Alex's room. Harry Potter was playing on the TV and two people were cuddled up on the bed.

Alex and Mitch. Were sleeping in the same bed.

After I had specifically told him to not even think about it.

"MITCHELL. ALEXA. WHY ARE YOU TWO IN THE SAME BED?!" I screamed, unable to contain my anger.

As they woke up, everyone else ran into the room to see what was going on.

"Adam! We were watching movies, chill, it's not like anything happened!" Alex said as soon as she had woken up.

"Oh, likely story! Mitch, what did I say would happen if I found out about anything like this?!" I yelled.

"Adam, we fell asleep watching movies, I swear!" Mitch replied to me.

"Mitch. What did I say would happen?" I said angrily.

Mitch mumbled under his breath, something nobody could understand.

"What. Did. I. Say?" I said even angrier.

"That I'd never be able to see Alex again," Mitch said, his voice cracking.

Was he... crying?

*Alex's POV*

What?

"Adam, what the hell did you say to him?!" I yelled angrily.

"I simply laid down the rules about him dating you, and he just broke one," Adam said firmly.

Mitch was sitting next to me, crying. He wasn't saying anything, just crying. He stared down at his lap, rubbing his eyes.

"It's my fault..." He mumbled, thinking nobody could hear him.

"Adam, this isn't Mitch's fault. If you're gonna blame anyone, blame me. All we did was have a two person party and watch movies. I swear," I said calmly.

"So that's what the mess was..." Jerome said.

"Alex, I wasn't born yesterday. I know what happens when a boyfriend and girlfriend are left alone," Adam said.

"Adam, I know Mitch, he wouldn't do that, and I know that Alex wouldn't let him. If they say nothing happened, I can completely agree," Brice said, defending us. I made a mental note to thank him as soon as possible.

"Exactly. Plus, their story matches up, there's a mess that's too small for a normal party and they're both completely dressed. Not to mention that Harry Potter is on," Jerome said.

"Whatever, I don't believe them. I specifically told Mitch that if this ever happened, he'd never see her again, and I plan on keeping that promise," Adam said.

"Adam, I'm 18, you can't tell me what to do. I'm legally an adult," I said.

"I don't care! I'm your older brother!" Adam said angrily.

"Adam, no. You can't stop me from seeing my best friend," I said, holding Mitch's hand.

"Whatever, Mitch, go to your own bed. Alex, you're only allowed out if I say so," Adam said to me.

Maybe this new life wasn't so great...
