Chapter XX
Choice

Dylan had 2 options, grab her hand and look lost, save her life, love her for the very last time and break her heart by his death or he let her be.

"Without a hand to help her get in, she'd instinctively stop right before the door of the train. She knew it wouldn't pin her, it has sensors but she was two seconds away from reaching the doors and it's scary. She'd feel that it would be useless. She'd be too late. She'd need a cab."

"No!" Dylan shakes his head and pushed the thought away. He looked at the rushing lady and held out his hand.

There is no payment for love.

Nor sacrifice.

And he is willing to give her both.

Again, he was lost and didn't know the way to the address of his office of three years. Again, she believed his lie.

It was a blissful year.

Before their anniversary, Dylan burned his book.

Note:

This is actually not the end of the story. It's just the end of the "book" within the story. If there is anyone reading this, can you tell me if everything is confusing up to this part?

The next few chapters will try to explain everything and I am wondering if I should indulge the audience by explaining things or if I should just let the story reveal itself to you.

Also, if you see any inconsistencies, grammar errors or anything you think should be fixed, please feel free to tell me.

If you like any of the chapters, even though they are mostly short chapters, please give them votes. That will really ease my heart. I am worried that I am the only one who cares about Shana and Dylan's story.

Enough of that. I really hope anyone reads and enjoys this story. I truly love these characters and I wish I had more skills to put more life to them. If I get the inspiration, I might rewrite this whole story or make a detailed story of any of its chapters. Let's see. :)
