EPILOGUE

2 Years Later

So much time had passed since we defeated Malik but it sometime still felt like it had been just yesterday. Aiden had started to catch up on the life he had been missing and though he had been reluctant to stay with his mother and Yasuo, they had insisted that he was more than welcome until he got back on his feet.

The dreams I had of studying photography after high school had kind of gone down the drain. Three months after I became a vampire the side effects of being a creature of the night really set in and after 2 years I could barely spend 3 hours out in the sun without getting a hideous sunburn. I missed it at times but Yvonne showed me so many magical things to do during the night that I didn't mind. One of my favorite thing for us to do?

Stargazing.

We had found a secluded spot a few hours out of town (more like 20 mins for us) where there were no light interrupting the sky. We could spend hours under the night sky, just the two of us. We talked, cuddled, learned all the different constellations among other things and it made me realize just how much I love Yvonne.

'I have an idea. Why not take photographs of the starry sky? With your talents you could make the images stunning.' Yvonne said one night as we cuddled under the sky. A big fuzzy blanket wrapped around us. 'That's actually not a bad idea.' I agreed, planting a small kiss on her cheek.

'It would also give us the opportunity to travel the world even though we basically have an infinite amount of time at our hands to do that.' She joked. 'I'll go anywhere as long as it is with you.' The time which we had spent apart from each other the last two years could practically be counted on two hands.

'I did tell you a bit about werewolves. We could actually visit one if you want. I know you're really curious. He's also a dear friend of mine.'

'I would love to.' I replied and entwined my fingers with hers. It was an interesting world I had entered and I was curious to see what werewolves looked like. Or Lycans. That's what Yvonne had said they preferred to be called.

'But first-' Yvonne began as she pulled away from me to find something in her bag. I cocked my head curiously. Her heart was starting to beat unnaturally fast. It almost sounded like she was anxious but trying her best to hide it. My eyes widened in shock once I saw what was in her hands. 'I know we might be a bit young but I can't imagine being without you. Even if it has just been two short years. I would really love it if you would mar-'

'YES!' I squealed and practically threw myself into her arms. Yvonne chuckled.

'You didn't let me finish.' I pulled back slightly, almost unable to hold back my excitement and motioned for her to continue.

'Would you marry me?'

'Yes! A thousand times yes!' I replied almost before she had finished and leaned back in to kiss her. I couldn't imagine my life without Yvonne anymore. Not after all we had been through. It was a dream come through. Yvonne took my hand and slipped one of the beautiful golden rings on my finger. Shakily I took the other and slipped it onto hers.

Engaged.

I was engaged.

Not something I had envisioned for myself when being 20 years old. But I knew my parents would be happy. They absolutely adored Yvonne. I could only hope (and I did imagine) her parents would be too. They been treating me like a part of the family ever since I met them.

"I can't imagine life being more perfect than this." I murmured, looking at my ring in awe.

Life could throw anything at us. Nothing could break what we had.

I would love Yvonne for as long I lived.

A/N

It's finished. My first big idea has finally been written down. It feels amazing and also sorta sad.

But now begins the editing part :D

I will go back and edit each chapter for spelling mistakes, plot holes and I might add to the chapters to fill out the book even more.

It's not perfect but I hope it will be sometimes :)
