Ryan hugged me again, but it felt different. More like she meant it honestly. It felt nice.

I was still upset about my situation. Listen, I've hated Marie lately. But I forgot how sucky breaking up with someone is. Like you're the reason they're sad. And it sucks dick.

"I'll let you sleep." She said getting up.
"No. Stay." I said, pulling her back down.
"All right then!" She laughed lying next to me. She turned to me and looked into my eyes. I saw her taking glances at my lips, so... I kissed her. I don't know why, I mean she's my best friend for fucks sake! But I did. She was tense so I pulled away.

"I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me! I...I" I rambled, but she stopped me by putting her finger on my lips. Replacing her finger with her own lips. I smiled into it and she did too. I moved so I moved so I was on all fours, on top of her. She sat up and but her arms around my neck.

  After about ten minutes in the heaven she put me in, we sadly parted. We were both panting, and smiling like idiots.
"So..." I said
"Idiot." She said in a joking voice. Slapping my chest lightly.
"...round two?" I asked
"Maybe later." She said winking at me, then turning around.
"Come on! We have too much sexual tension I need to release."
"Woah woah woah. Your tongue is the only thing going inside me today." She said, then realized exactly what she Said.

  I smirked,
"No no no! Not like that!" She yelled blushing,
"I meant your tongue in my mouth. Like kissing!" I laughed at her quietly.
"Nothing more." She said.
"Fuck!" I joked , giving her another peck on her lips."
"Calum?" She asked me,
"Yes?"
"I like you." She admitted, and I smiled.
"Hey Ryan?" I asked her,
"Yes?"
"I like you too."

That night I couldn't sleep well. Ryan didn't wanna sleep in the same bed as me, because she thinks I'll try to pull something. I would never do that, ever. But it was weird sleeping alone. I slept with Ryan every day for a while, but as just friends, who don't have feelings for the other. At least from the others point of view. Now that we admitted we like each other, how much is gonna change? Are we together? I mean obviously not Boyfriend and Girlfriend, but a thing. Are we a thing?

The good thing about us, is we feel the same way towards the 'L' word. It feels too strong, like it's a title for long term things. I want this to be long term, if it's a thing, but even I know it's too early to say that. She definitely knows.

Eventually I ended up falling asleep. It took a few hours but I got there. After looking at my ceiling for hours and thinking about Ryan, I'm asleep.

"Wake up sleepyhead!" Ryan said, from outside my door. I hid my head in my pillow.
"Fine. Get up idiot." She said again, but this time by my bed. I still didn't get up, so she jumped on me by straddling me. I had a great view down her shirt.
"Nice view." I mumbled with a smirk, causing her to cover herself, and get off me.

"You're such a boy." She laughed,
"Indeed Ryan." I said, "very observant of you." And she glared.
"Don't be sassy." She said and I stick my tongue out at her.
"That's what you get for waking me up!"
"Cal it's noon." She said, showing me the time on her phone.
"Were you asleep late?" She asked and I nodded.
"Why were you awake?"
"I don't know." I lied, "Just tired." And she nodded.

"Let's go. I got Nando's." She said, and I perked my head up, making her laugh. Then I ran to the kitchen. And there was Nando's on the island. I ripped into the bag and ate my Chicken Burger. She follows behind slowly, laughing at me.
She grabbed a box of wings, and ate them. Watching me with amusement.

I thought about what I wanted to say to her, and I planned it exactly.
"Ryan?" I asked, she swallowed.
"Yeah?"
"Are..." I sighed, "Are we a thing?" I asked, and she put down the wings. She looked up at me.
"Only... if you want to?" She said, making it sound like a question. And I nodded slowly.
"I want to." I said and this time she nodded.
"Then that's what we'll do." She said.
I gave her a small hug, and a peck on the cheek.
"You missed." She mumbled,
"What?"
"You missed." She repeated, pointing to her lips. I smiled and gave her a long kiss where she pointed. This is a weird couple of days.

Ryan went to go be with Autumn. Her best friend. Also who Luke has a thing for. I ship it, and I haven't even met her.
This left me alone to actually process what happened today and yesterday.

•she made me sleep alone
•she bought me Nando's
•I ate some of her wings
•I asked if we were a thing
•she said yes
•she left me to go see Autumn
She's very confusing. All I know for sure, is that;

Ryan Skye Clifford? I really really really like you. I have since 9th grade. I like you the same way I did five years ago. That won't change for a while. I know.
