Ryan (look at that sexy boy)

"Hello, Cal!" Joy, Calum's mother greeted. She hugged her son tightly, before she even noticed I was here. But when she did, her eyes brightened and she hugged me too.

"Hello dear!" She said. I laughed.

"Hey, joy." She smiled and led us to her car.

Calum got shotgun, so I awkwardly sat in the back. Calum turned on the radio, and automatically started singing when Jesus of Suburbia was on. He also air- drummed the mini drum solos in between phrases.

I smiled as his excitement, and I could tell Joy was joyful about it too... sorry.

She parked then car, and Calum and I both jumped out. We grabbed our bags and I ran right to the door. I kinda just let myself in. I had panic attacks a lot as a kid, so I came here a lot because Calum could help me. Then it became a schedule basically, and I came here almost everyday just because.

It was my second home.

I opened the door and took in the room I missed so much. I kind of forgot that Calum's parents god divorced since I last been here so long ago, so I expected him to be in his study. But it's now Joy's I think.

When the others came in, joy unlocked the door.

"Mali, honey, come downstairs!" She called to her daughter. And the first girl best friend I had.

She walked downstairs, and first noticed Calum.

"Hey cal." She said, rather plainly. Then she saw me. I flashed a smile as she ran down the stairs.

"Holy shi- crap!" She corrected, hugging me tightly. I smiled and hugged her back.

"Dude." Calum said. She chuckled and hugged him too.

"Sorry." She smiled, then she turned her attention back to me.

"How long at you gonna be here?" She asked me.

"Overnight."

"Great! Follow me." She said. But I didn't have a choice because she pulled me up the stairs, and into her room. She then pulled the couch out and turned into a bed.

"My mom's a bit stereotypical. It's probably not the best idea for you to sleep with him here." She explained as she put bed sheets on the pull out bed.

"Yeah, that's probably a good idea." I agreed. When she finished, we sat on the bed.

"So," I started.

"What's on your mind?"

"Um in not judging you at all, but since when are you living with your mom?" I asked. I tried not to sound judgey. But she 5 years older than Calum and she graduated 4 years ago.

"Um," she paused as she pushed her hair behind her ear.

"Well I lived with my boyfriend. And the. We broke up. So he kicked me out." She said sadly.

"I'm sorry for asking."

"No, it's not that big of a deal, really." She said. Looking unsure herself. Like I felt. But I stopped talking anyway. Luckily, before it got more awkward, someone knocked.

"It's open!" Mali screamed, louder than necessary. Calum opened the door and laughed.

"Chill. Anyway, lemme show you my room Ry." He signaled for me to follow him. So I agreed and followed him. I walked into his room and it was nice. Well not nice as in fancy, but nice as in comforting. It smelled like his room at home, only stronger. It's smelled like his cologne, and also grass. I'm not sure why.

His walls were dark blue, and he had a mix of band posters and footballer posters, many of the two on each wall. I Immediately jumped and lied on his bed. I creepily smelled the sheets.

"Are you smelling my sheets?" He asked, and laughed a bit.

"Yes." I said, slightly nodding.

"You are such a strange person." He told me. I smiled, knowing he was right.

"Yes I am, hood." I said, "And you love it." I sat up and pulled him towards him.

"I do." He said kissing me on my lips delicately.

I do. Those are the words I hope he says again in the future. Our future.

But that's really creepy isn't it? Thinking of our wedding so early in the relationship. Then again I'm creepy. But I should try and stop.

Mali opened the door then. Seeing us.

"Keep it PG guys." She said.

"Wait, isn't the first time you've seen us as a couple?" I asked.

"Yeah, we haven't told anyone in the family yet." Calum added.

"Welllll, yeah this is the first time it's proven to me. But I always knew it was gonna happen so I'm not surprised." She smiled.

"Why'd you even come in here, Mali?" He asked his sister.

"Oh yeah, we're watching The Notebook when you come back in." She said, pointing her finger at me.

"Good choice." I said. She turned around. She dodged Calum's foot as he tried to kick her. I shook my head at their childish behavior. But it was fun to watch because they're sibling goals. I hugged him, then followed Mali into her room.  She turned the movie on and I promised myself I wouldn't cry. Calum joined us, but got bored and left 5 minutes later.

When it was over, I broke my promise and I was bawling. She was by my side doing the same thing. Calum walked in all panicky, not sure why we were both crying.

"Oh my god are you guys okay?! What can I do to help?" He asked.

I smiled through my tears because he was so worried about me, and his sister too.

"Nothing, hun. The movie's just sad." Mali told him. I saw both the relief was over his face, and annoyance.

"Okay, I'm glad nothing's wrong. But Jesus." He mumbled turning around to leave.

"Thanks for caring about us so much." I said before he did. He turned around, with a growing smile.

"You're welcome." He said. Happy to be praised. He kissed my cheek and his sister. When he left, I Mali and I both wiped our tears. I notice her smiling like an idiot at me.

"What?" I asked.

"He really does love you."
