**Ryan's POV**

Honestly, I don't know what happened two nights ago. He kissed me and I kissed him, like it's obvious. But I don't know why. It's currently 6:12 am; I can't sleep. I spent my night thinking about him. The truth is, I like him. I like him a lot. But I don't want what happened to change how we are. We're best friends, and I couldn't be happier with that. We decided we're a thing. But I'm quite scared, like if it changes I'll be so sad. It better not.

  I ended up getting a few extra hours of sleep, waking up at 8:56. I stumbled out of bed to see him lying on the couch.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey girl I have a thing with." He smirked and I laughed.
"Don't say that."
"But Ryan, you said we had a thing."
"True but don't be annoying with it."
"Um I'm never annoying!" He practically yelled and I chucked.
"Debatable." I said giving him a peck on the fore head.

At that moment, all my unsureness washed away then. But I looked back at him, and I saw my best friend. I'm going too fast.

"Hey Calum?" I asked,
"Huh?"
"Uh, do you think we're maybe, going too fast?" I asked, and he turned his head away from the TV.
"Are you happy?" He asked and I nodded.
"Then Ry, you have nothing to worry about." He assured me. Or at least tried.
I was still a bit unsure, but gave in.
"Okay." I said, hugging him, my head on his chest. I'm happy, but worried.

I stayed in my room, working on important social media-ing. Only to be interrupted by my phone, Autumn.
"Hello?" I asked,
"You should go to the bar with me tonight." She said, and I thought.
"Depends." I said, thinking. I could get away from Calum, and at the moment I really want that. Trust me I'm not mad at him, but I need to think. Without him there, ya know? He sometimes makes decisions harder.
"I'll go." I said.
"Yay! I'll pick you up at nine. Girls night!" She said excited. And I laughed.
"See you then." I said, hanging up. The time was 7:50. So I had an hour and ten minutes to get ready.

"Hey cal? I'm going out tonight?" I said to him.
"Okay. Can I ask who with?" He said protectively. And I laughed.
"Autumn. It's a girls night." He smiled, relieved.
"Have fun Ry."

I put on black, high waisted shorts, a fancy blue tank top, and gray jewelry. My hair straightened. I put on black wedges, and it was almost time to leave when I was ready. I walked into the living room. I could feel Calum's eyes, burning into my back. So I turned around, and he indeed was staring. When I caught him, he pulled an innocent smile. And I laughed.
"You look great." He said and I smiled.
"Thanks."

After, I heard a car beep. The cue for me to go.
"Bye." I said, waving him off. But leaving myself. I got in the front of Autumns car. We didn't talk, but it was a comfortable silence I only had with her, and the boys. She turned on the music, and I sang my heart out to How You Remind Me by Nickleback. She joined in on the chorus. We were such idiots. When the song was over, we just laughed at ourselves.

She pulled into the White Rabbit Bar and Grill. We walked into the separate bar area and sat down.
"I'm gonna get us drinks." She said and I nodded. I looked away. When I looked back, she was gone. I scanned the room, and my jaw dropped.

"Oh. My. God." I said, walking over to the table of three of my high school friends. Emma and Savanna. Savanna's jaw dropped and Emma almost screamed.
"Ry! What are you doing here?" Savanna asked, and I laughed.
"I live here. Why are you here?"
"Oh my god, we just moved here!" Emma said, and she hugged my.
"Ryan?" I heard Autumn call,
"Over here!" I said, waving to her. She walked over here, and gave me a cocktail.
"Autumn, Savanna and Emma. Savanna and Emma, Autumn." I introduced them to each other.
"Nice to meet you." Autumn said, shaking the others hands."
"Yes nice to meet you too." Emma said, and Savanna nodded. Savanna is very shy, so I don't expect her to be outgoing when meeting new people.
"Listen so I'm getting bored. Wanna go to my place?" I asked them. Savanna and Em (as I call her) nodded, but Autumn shook her head no.
"We just got here!" She said,
"And it's boring, come on." I said, gesturing for them to follow me. They did, even Autumn.

"Who's gonna drive?" I asked, since I've had a few cocktails,
"Me I guess." Savanna said quietly. "I haven't been drinking." She said, and I nodded. Handing her the keys. I got shotgun, Em and Autumn sat in the back.
"Where do you live?" Savanna asked. I forgot she just got to Aussie. I was living in New York during high school.
"1203 Stone street. I'll help you." I told her, and she nodded.

I checked my phone and had a text from Cal.
From CalPal: Imma be at Luke's tonight, so I probably won't be there when you're back.

To CalPal: That's fine :) I'm coming home no anyway. I brought friends JSYN.

From CalPal: kk :) see ya. Bye.

To CalPal: Bye :)

I put my phone back down, and navigated Savanna to my house.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Hurry up Fall!" I said to Autumn as she was taking forever to get out of the car. She scoffed at the nickname I used. A lot of people call her that, so I don't care.
We managed to get her inside faster. And we sat on the couch.
"So why'd you decide to move to Australia?" Autumn asked,
"Oh, we were just sick of New York ya know?" Emma said,
"And we kinda for got you lived here. Oops?" Savanna added, and I just chuckled. We spend about an hour gossiping about life. I found out Emma has a new boyfriend named Noah, and Savanna just finished college online. She started right away, however Em, Fall, the boys and I waited two years. We felt we wanted to be free for a while before we start school again.
We spent another hour watching Friends reruns. That was our favorite show when we were around 15. It was nice catching up with Savanna and Em, but I'm really tired. It's been a long day.
Sorry for the shitty ending, and I'm even more sorry for not updating in a long time. I'll  try and write more.
