**Calum's POV**

"I really like you too Ryan." I said and she smiled, slightly resembling a five year old. "Lets go!" She said, jumping out of the car. I chuckled and did the same. I knew Daniel's is her favorite restaurant, so this would be the beginning to a great date. Yes, only the beginning. I have my plans.

We walked in and they guided us to our table and we sat down. We had an amazing view. "Hello, may I take your order?" Someone said. I was still looking at the menu, but glanced at Ryan. Her jaw had been dropped. I looked at our waiter and he was Jacob. Ryan's ex boyfriend.

"Sorry what are you doing here?" she asked, she looked at me, then back at Jacob.
"I work here." He said, "Now Ryan, what do you want to eat? Besides me." He smirked and I began to grow furious. "Babe I wanna tell you I'm so much better than this asshole." He said. I stood up.
"Were leaving." I grabbed Ryan's hand and pulled her up. I started to walk to the car, but Jacob grabbed her other hand. Stopping us.
"No you're leaving." He said to me, "Were staying here. Bye." She pulled away from him.
"Were both leaving." She said sternly, and we walked out.
"Whatever slut." He yelled as we walked out. She stopped, her face growing redder. She closed her eyes tightly and when they opened, a tear rolled down her face.
"Ry..." I said, pulling her into a hug. She quietly sobbed, and I rubbed her back.
"He's an asshole. Everyone knows that's not true." I said and she slowly pulled away and nodded. I got in the drivers seat, and she sat shotgun. "Take me home." She whispered.
"What? No, please. I can make this better. Don't let him ruin my one chance at our date." I said, and she shook her head no. I pleaded until she agreed. Finally. I began to drive down the road. "Where we going?" She asked and I shook my head. "You'll see." I said, and she huffed like an angry toddler. I laughed as she pouted.

I drove down a path in the forest. At night, this place is creepy. But the sun is about to set. Good timing. I thought, as it looked beautiful now. The Orange, yellow, and pink sky and the fallen leaves. It took a long time to get where I wanted, so it was dark when I pulled up at the house.
"Whose house is this?" She asked, "My Grandma's and my house." I sighed.
"But she died..." she pointed out, mumbling sorry and I chuckled. Even though it makes me sad.
"It's ok. And exactly. Its just mine." her mouth formed an 'O' shape. "What about bills and electricity?" She asked,
"I'm honestly not sure. I get water and electricity, but no bills. Pretty lucky I guess," I said and she nodded. I grabbed her hand and pulled her inside.

"Woah." she whispered when I turned on the lights. It was a beautiful house. There was a love seat and large glass table. A glass cabinet with glass china I never use and a flat screen. There were high ceilings and a large sparkly chandelier hanging from it. The kitchen was large. The island and counters were marbled black, white, and gray. But the fridge and oven were firetruck red.
"It's beautiful huh?" I said and she nodded. "My grandma designed it." She nodded again.
"Well she did a good job at it." she said, making me smile. "This isn't even the best part." I said.
"Then what is?" she asked. "I'll show you, but I need to get something." I said running upstairs. She followed me, and we went to my room. I grabbed the guitar I had in its case, and slung it over my shoulder. "Your room is very... Boy-ie." she said, looking at my various band posters. "Thank you." I said, and we went back downstairs. I opened my backdoor, and we went outside. "This is the best part." I said, we had a large cave in the backyard of this house. "The cave?" she asked, and I nodded. "It's kinda scary in the dark." she admitted.
"I'll fix that." I said. I had a generator on the side of the cave. It was connected to many feet of fairy lights that filled the whole cave. I switched the generator on, so the entire cave lit up.
"Better?"
"Better."

She latched on to my arm, and we walked to the end of it. There was a hole in the roof at the end, and a waterfall poured through it, into a pond. I looked at her and her mouth was in an 'O' shape. I smiled, sitting us down on a couch I set up.
"Holy shit!" she said.
"I know right?"
"How long did it take you to make this?" she asked, gesturing toward the lights.
"Uhh, about a month or two." "How?" she asked, "You didn't live here." "Well no. But I came here almost every day from sixth grade, to when I moved in with you two years ago."
"Why'd you stop?" she asked, and I thought for a moment.
"Well... I didn't okay when my parents got divorced. My home was broken and I was alone there So this was my escape. Ya know?" I asked and she nodded. "Then my grandma died, and I was extremely depressed. But I kept coming because this WAS my home."

"That doesn't answer my question." Ryan said, "Why'd you stop coming here?" "When I moved in with you, I didn't feel alone anymore. I didn't need to come here to feel at home, because you are my home." I said. I've never opened up like this to anyone before. Ryan smiled. She stood up and sat on my lap. Facing me. She pressed her lips against mine, and she opened them. So I slipped my tongue in. I whispered against her.

"You are my home."

"You're my home too."

Hey so pretty great date. Huh? I know Cal's parents aren't divorced, but it worked with the story so I made that up.
