This is an up to date and edited version of a newsies fanfiction i wrote back in 2012 that i posted on another website. Looking back, that story was not my best lol I was very young and there was a lot of room for improvement. I still love this story and Newsies, and I wanted to give it the best I got. I wanted to continue working on the story I poured my heart and soul into when I was younger. But, it's still a work in progress.
There will be a lot of small mistakes still, as I'm still focusing on improving the story line/ actual content for completion before sweeping through all the grammar. But I will have to do some major editing of chapter 1-20 (it's a little rough) after I finish the story line. But it gets better after that, I promise, please be patient.
This is my first story on wattpad. I hope you enjoy it! Please comment and vote. It would mean a lot :) I don't own the characters except for my OC Charlotte/Kit and a couple others that will be introduced later on and sadly I do not own Newsies. One day Disney, one day. I also do not own any images/gifs/videos used.

Charlotte's thumb hovered over her screen. She took a moment to think, then quickly tapped on the headline. Gifs of adorable puppies filled her screen. She scrolled through and laughed at a Weiner dog puppy losing balance and goofily falling over.
Her phone buzzed as she got a text.

Charlotte looked at the time and mumbled "Shoot" as she realized she was indeed going to be late. She quickly jumped out of bed in disbelief that she spent so long scrolling through clickbait articles. The concept of time in the summer was a phenomenon.
She quickly shrugged on an oversized, dusty rose henley long sleeve she had cropped with her mother's craft scissors, and then slid on a pair of tan, high-waisted shorts.
