“Jack ass!” I mumbled, switching the radio back on to listen to 'Good Girls Bad Guys' by Falling in Reverse.

“It's my car, so I control the music.” Alex sighed, turning the music off once again.

I sighed right back at him, crossed my arms and slumped back into my seat. At least he wasn't a lunatic driver that decided 90mph was an acceptable speed. I noticed him look over and smile at me out of the corner of my eye, so I shot him a glare. Yes, I found him attractive, he's the son of the love goddess for the Gods sake, but that didn't mean I have to like him. “So, are there any ugly children of Aphrodite?” I asked him, curious to see if he was just an off chance.

He looked slightly taken a back by my question but answered me all the same. “No. We're all blessed by our mother and inherit her attractiveness.” He smiled quickly. “So are there any attractive children of Zeus?”

“Ouch!” I slapped him lightly and pouted. “Though, I guess that explains why Zara's so frigging cute.”

“She's not a daughter of Aphrodite.” Alex stated, his voice holding a hint of humour.

“Really?!” I gasped, looking at him wide eyed. I could have sworn she was, she was utterly beautiful! With her little pretty blue eyes and perfect curly hair...

“Really” Alex chuckled. “She's a daughter of Apollo.”

“Really? No shit?” I was still looking him like he was a freak.

“Yes, G. Really” He sighed. “She's a little ray of sunshine.” He smiled again, I rolled my eyes at his bad pun.

“But you two look so a like!” I protested, shaking my head. “You have the same eyes, nose, jawline, smile... you get my drift? You two just look.. right!”

“I know we do. That's why we let mortals believe we are, it'd just cause more suspicion if we denied it. It'll become more obvious that we're not related the older she gets. She could never live up to my amazingly good looks.” He winked at me as he pulled the car into the parking space, turning everything off.

Again, I rolled my eyes at him as I jumped out of his car and walked around it. “Please, you're not that good looking, Alex. I mean, you're not perfect, far from it infact.”

He gasped next to. “How dare you! I'm absolutely fabulous!”

“Well, your eyebrows could do with some work, as could your teeth..”

He pouted next to me. “Excuse me? My eyebrows are nice and manly, leave them alone!”

I burst out into laughter. “Manly?! There is nothing manly about you, Alex. How many products do you use on your hair every day?”

“That has nothing to do with this!” He cried, going a little more red. “Plus, I can show you just how manly I really am if you want me to.” He said, waggling his 'manly' eyebrows at me.

“Pervert.”

“Whore.”

“Pimp.”

“Virgin.”

I stopped dead. “What did you just say?”

“Virgin, what did it sound like?” He called over his shoulder, smirking at me. “What, you're not actually a virgin are you? That'd just be pathetic.” He laughed at me. He'd stopped walking and looked at me. “Wait, you're not, are you?”

I gave him my best death glare and shoved past him, deliberately knocking into his shoulder though I'm sure it hurt me way more than it hurt him. Making fun of Virgins, huh? What a delightful person. I'd had enough of that when I was at my last school.
