Georgiana’s P.O.V

I hurried around the mall, collecting the last few bits I thought I may need for the photo shoot with Zara, still panicking inside my own little head. I knew I should have found Alex and asked him what Zara liked but I was still too furious with him to bother. I didn’t want to be around someone who was going to treat my sexual status as a joke, or something to be ashamed of.

By the time I was done, I’d picked out an adorable little gold and white dress for Zara - to match her fathers Golden eyes – and a little gold head band to go in her lovely curly hair. I knew the gold would bring out her big blue eyes and that her pale skin would possibly reflect the gold, making her look a little tanned and maybe a little odd, so I bought a separate outfit for her to wear just in case. The spare outfit consisted of a dark, shimmering red dress with poofy princess sleeves and a little bracelet with a rose on for her. I smiled at how cute I knew she was going to look in these outfits and silently prayed to whoever was listening that I’d do these photos justice.

I stumbled through the mall, officially carrying far more than necessary when I spotted Alex standing with a tall, blonde girl, looking thoroughly bored and like he’d do anything other than be with said blonde girl. I smirked and waddled my way over to him. When he spotted me he gave me a have smile, saying sorry to me with his eyes. I nodded at him, letting him know that I’d sort-of forgiven him.

The blonde girl noticed his attention was else where and turned to see what he was now so intently focused upon. I recognised her from the circle of girls that were always around Alex at school and snorted in a very attractive manner to myself. When she saw me she glared at me, daring me to go closer and disrupt her moment with Alex. I had to give it to her, she was bloody gorgeous but she looked like a true skank in her tight, only just covering her chest tank top and tight skinny jeans, make-up and long fake nails. I smirked at her and carried on walking up to them, when I reached Alex I held out half of my bags and winked at him.

Rolling his eyes, he took them. “Got enough stuff, darling?” He chuckled.

“Just about.” I said, laughing at his tight smile. “And who’s this?” I turned back to look at the blonde rake and gave her a disgusted look.

“Oh, I’m Kelly, his ex. And by the looks of things, going to be his current girl very soon, so back off, yeah?”

I full on laughed in her face. “Really? That’s funny. I’m pretty sure I’m engaged to Alex right here, so you’re not going to be his current in anyway shape or form,Love.”

I could feel Alex trying not to laugh from behind me as Kelly’s face turned red with rage.

“Oh really? Where’s your ring, darling.” She gave a false giggle. “Bless, Alex, you poor thing, having to put up with little girls with no lives pretending to be your girl. I bet she’s still a virgin, too.”

I felt my blood boil again. Really? What is the thing around here with people being virgins!?

“Excuse me for not being a whore, Kelly, and for not opening my legs 24 hours a day like you obviously do. Now if you don’t mind I’d like to carry on shopping with my fiancé and not be bothered by stuck up little skanks like you. I do not want to hear you speak ever again and I never want to see you again.” I snapped, pulling on Alex’s arm so that he followed me. He didn’t protest as I steered him away from a now fuming, yet strangely silent, Kelly, he kept his mouth shut and followed, like a good little Demi-God.

Alex’s P.O.V

That was hot.

Like… full on hot.

When Georgiana had blown up at Kelly she’d gotten this eerie power around her that I’d never seen a Demi-God do before. I’d read about powerful Demi-Gods being able to influence those around them when they had strong enough feeling and I’d also read up on an aura around a Demi-God but I’d never witnessed it.

Her eyes were a burning colour of silver, totally blocking out the blue in her eyes and her hair seemed to glow slightly. She also looked tired at the same time as looking magnificent. She was still dragging me through the mall at a seriously fast rate but I could see her strides getting shorter and weaker, I could feel her pull being less defined too.

She pulled me all the way back to my car before she let go of me and shrugged against the car in exhaustion. I caught her before she slid to the ground.

“Wow, G, look at me.” I whispered, pushing her hair out of her face.

“What’s wrong with me?” She muttered, trying to find the strength to stand on her own two feet. “Why am I so tired?”

“Lets get you into the car first and them I’ll explain, kay?” She nodded. I held her against me with one arm and opened up the car door with the other and slid her into the seat. “Can you buckle yourself in?” I asked gently.

She turned and glared at me. “Yes, I’m not incapable, like you.”

I smiled at her normal feisty attitude returning. “Good.” I closed the door and ran to put all of the stuff she’d bought into the boot before getting into the car myself.

Once I’d started the car up, I handed her one of the many chocolate bars I had in my car for times I felt weak. “Here, eat this. The sugar in it will help you feel better.”

She took it, giving me an odd look but ate it none the less. “Alex, what happened.” She asked me again.

I sighed and concentrated on the road as I spoke. “Some Demi-Gods can influence people around them when their emotions are powerful enough. It takes a shit load out of your energy levels and can leave the influenced person feeling like hell for a few days before they entirely forget the incident.”

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Georgiana look utterly stunned and look down at her hands. “Is that what I did? Is that why she didn’t say anything back?” She whispered, sounding scared of her own voice.

“Yeah. I think that’s what you did, G.” I said back, grinning slightly. “You’re one hell of a Demi-God.”

She let out a scared sounding laugh. “I’ll need to be careful about what I say when I’m upset then, huh?”

“Yeah, yeah you will, but don’t worry. I can help you along if you like.” I smiled, looking over at her.

She snorted at me. “As if you can help, Alex, you’re the person that makes me feel like I want to punch people in the face mainly. Well, in the time I’ve known you that’s all you seem to make me feel.”

“Is that why you were so jealous of me being with Kelly then. Huh?”

I watched a small blush creep up her cheeks and smiled victoriously at her. “I was not jealous!” She screeched. “I needed you to carry my bags.”

I laughed. “Sure thing. That’s why you let her know that I was your fiancé.”

She didn’t say anything more but just glared stubbornly out of the window.

“Look, G, let me make it up to you. I was an ass earlier for saying anything about your virginity.”

She rolled her eyes at me. “And how are you going to make it up to me, huh?”

“I’ll take you out for dinner tonight. I’ll pay for everything and I promise I won’t call you G all night.”

She deliberated for a second and I could just imagine her literally making up a list in her head of pro’s and con’s for it.

“Alright.” She said eventually and I had to stop myself from punching that air in my great victory.
