Georgiana's P.O.V

So, a lot has happened in this last week.

Wedding plans... that had to have been in the top five most weird things I have ever experienced. I've sat through several meetings with Aphrodite, Dionysus and Demeter and I swear, there's nothing more intimidating than being sat in a room with Aphrodite.

It does nothing for your ego at all. Zilch... Zero...

I know she's supposed to be beautiful and all but seriously.. I think I might just get a new, better face before I consider being her step-daughter. So far we've decided that my bouquet should consist of Angrec, purple Roses and purple Lilacs, a combination that contains royalty and love together - according to Demeter - that fits in with the purple and white colour scheme we decided on.

Hell, I even knew what my dress was! As I'd presumed, it was kinda Greek styled and white and typically bloody floaty. I mean, what is it about floaty dresses that appeals to people? Don't get me wrong, I think it's stunning and all, just.. floaty. As in, whips around my ankles and makes me want to fall over and gets stuck on EVERYTHING around it... floaty.

I slumped back into the couch Alex and I were sat on and sighed. I had my feet in Alex's lap and he started to rub my feet. We'd been so good together, something I really hadn't expected at all. He was simply the sweetest boy in the world when it came to me. We haven't shared a dull moment in this past week and it's been brilliant.

School was interesting. I should have taken a picture of Kelly's face when she first watched us two together. The teachers all gave us glittering looks that seemed to say *We knew it*. If I wasn't in such a loved up mood I would have been slightly pissed with them to be honest. They didn't even stop us from being lovey dovey in class at all. Perverts.

"What's on your mind, G?" He asked, still rubbing my feet.

"Wedding.." I mumbled, wriggling my toes a little.

"Well, stop it. My lovely darling mother has it all covered with the two D's." Alex chuckled.

I giggled a little at that. "Don't let Dionysus hear you call him that."

Dionysus was a great guy, but he could a bit grumpy at times and loved to feel respected. According to Poseidon he threw a fantastic party though.

"Geogiana.." Alex said, shifting to sit up properly and moving my feet out of his lap.

"Mm?" I felt him move off the sofa.

"Look at me, baby.."

"But it's so dark under my eyelids..."

He chuckled at me and poked my nose softly. "Oi, look at me."

I laughed a little myself and opened my eyes to see Alex knelt beside the sofa. "Um.. hello?"

He took a deep breath and looked me in the eyes, the love he felt for me apparent in his gaze. "Georgiana.. I know we haven't technically been together for very long but we're going to be getting married in a few weeks, so I think it's only appropriate that I give you this.."

He must have noticed my confused look because he chuckled nervously as he pulled out a little green box out of his pocket and fumbled with it in his hands before he handed it to me. "Here.." he mumbled as her got up and paced around the room, not looking at me.

I sat up and watched him pace, feeling a little uneasy as I flipped open the little box. Inside lay a delicate ring. I gasped and took it out of the box, examining it. I twirled it in my fingers, taking in the delicate silver designs around the band and loving the way the black diamond glittered in the light.

"Alex, is this what I think it is?"

He stopped pacing and faced me. "Yeah.. yeah it is.." He scratched the back of his head. He looked adorable when he did that.

I chuckled, even though I was still kinda shocked to be honest. "What, no romantic speech, huh? I'm wounded." I winked.

Alex just rolled his eyes and sighed. "If you don't want it to be your super engagement ring that I had to have an amazingly awkward conversation with your father to have made for you then I'll take it back..."

I clutched the ring to my chest and gave him an offended and sad look.
"Shush then." He chuckled and leaned in to kiss me.

Pure, undeniable, bliss.

Poseidon's P.O.V

Zeus and I shared a very personal moment as we watched Georgiana receive her engagement ring. Our little girl was growing up... okay maybe that sounded a bit gay..

But she really was our little girl, just that she was my God-Daughter and Zeus's actual Daughter.

I felt a salt tear trickle down my cheek and chuckled lightly, brushing it away. I heard Zeus chuckle too and watched him brush away an identical tear away from his own cheek.

"We're so hard-core.." He chuckled and half punched me in the arm.

"Oh, aye." I laughed. We stayed silent for a second more, watching Georgiana smile. "She's growing up." I sighed.

"Yeah..Yeah she is."

Zeus walked away from the image we were looking at. leaving me to my own memories. I looked down at Georgiana and smiled softly again before stopping it and sending a silent thank you to Iris.

She was going to make a fantastic mother one day, just like Angela would have done.

"She's wonderful, isn't she?"

I looked up to see Demeter stood in front of me, a smile on her lips. She walked towards me and threw an arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, she is, huh?" I sighed, smiling back at her.

Demeter hip bumped me and laughed. "Stop thinking about Angela so much, it'll only make you miss what makes Georgiana so brilliant."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, think about it. If you look at Georgiana you see Angela all over her. The red hair, the smile, the freckles.. but if you look past that you can see the hurt in the smile, the power within her that Angela lacked sometimes and most of all, you see her heart shining through like a beacon of hope everyday."

I smiled. She was utterly right. Georgiana wasn't all Angela. She had a fire in her that Angela didn't have and had a feeling it would help her through things to come.
