Zeus’s P.O.V
The walls of Olympus shook as thunder rolled off them, my roar of rage sending the sky into chaos. I could feel my eyes burning red and the flame in the throne room blazed a brilliant red and stood tall. My rage knew no bounds as the sky rumbled again, lightning setting the sky on fire as it struck. She was gone, again. My daughter had been taken once again but this time I knew who had done it.
“Hades!” I roared, pacing around the room, my fists clenched so tight that if I could bleed, I would. I was going to murder his pathetic, back-stabbing son, permission or not. Hades appeared in the throne room in a cloud of darkness, stepping forward looking equally as angry for no specific reason that would make me think twice about killing his son.
“Don’t you dare.” He fumed, his eyes blazing black. “He’s my son, no matter what he’s done.” The darkness around him pulsed with rage.
“Then you do it.” I said darkly, staring him in the eyes. “Or get my daughter back in perfect condition within 24 hours.”
“I can’t. I can’t find him.” He protested, sounding tired.
“Yes you fucking can! I lost my daughter for over 16 years and I will not have her ripped away from me again due to your uncontrolled spawn!” I screamed and a few bits of the ceiling fell to the floor as lightning struck it.
“Zeus, control yourself.” Athena hissed as she came into the room perfectly composed. “We’ll get Georgiana back soon and she will be fine.”
I took a deep breath, rage still burning through my veins. “You will find her, Hades.”
“Brother, I can’t!” He yelled; his tone desperate instead of angry.
“I’ll help you.”
We all turned to look at where the voice had come from. “Nemesis?” I was stunned. She never got involved in anything, ever. She was notoriously known for staying out of battles because she couldn’t interfere without making things unfair.
“Nemesis?” Athena said, walking over to her. “Are you sure you can?”
She nodded her head and looked me in the eyes. “Your daughter will be fine, Lord Zeus, Olympus, however, will not if she does not reunite with Alex.”
I was stunned by her once again. “Nemesis, what do you mean?” I questioned, my anger seeming to calm a little now but not leaving completely.
“I don’t know what I mean.” She sighed, looking at the flames in the room. “I can just feel the scales tipping again… it happens every time Alex and Georgiana are apart. They are literally keeping justice right, keeping everything balanced by being together.”
My anger flared again. “You had better find her, Hades. Whatever happens to Olympus if you don’t find her will be your burden to bear.”
Alex’s P.O.V
“Again, Alex!” Lissa yelled at me, dragging her hand across her sweaty forehead. “If you ever want to help find Georgiana you will have to do far better than that!”
I growled at her and lunged again. Stupid fucking cousin. I would find Georgiana and I would fucking kill Zeke for taking her. I struck Lissa’s shield and swiftly proceeded to block her overhead strike.
“Better!” She yelled, diving for me again. She hit like a hammer and it made my arms shake to fight against her. “Don’t give up on her, Alex! Imagine I’m Zeke, right now!” I let out a scream of rage and spun and hit her furiously, knocking her to her feet and kicking away her shield. I pointed the sword at her throat, panting. “Well done.” She said quietly, looking slightly scared of me before knocking my sword away from her neck. She jumped up and pulled me into a tight hug. “We’ll find her, Alex. The God’s will help us with it.”
