G's POV.
The bench squeaked slightly as Alex sat down next to me at our table with his band of whores in the lunch hall. I felt my face flush hot again and so I hid in my messy hair, dropping my eyes to the not so attractive floor covered in bits of old food. Ew.
I'd been like this since that god awful music lesson and it was driving me insane, I was starting to get fairly furious with myself for being so pathetic to be honest. He'd only played a bloody song for gods sake! How did that manage to turn me into a big crappy school girl mess?
Fucking hormones. It's all the chemicals. It's their fault along with that stupidly gorgeous bloke – sorry, arsehole - sat next to me with sparkling blue eyes and soft fluffy blonde hair.. and.. NO! What the hell woman! Girl, Demi-god.. whatever I am!
“Hey there superstar.” He whispered into my ear. I retreated further into my hair.
Alex's POV.
She was just so utterly cute and she didn't even know it. The way she retreated into her dark red hair and flushed gentle shades of pink made my heart do funny things. Simply adorable. I didn't understand it though, the shy thing. Over the last few days that I've known her she's never shown of being shy. She'd been depressed and sobbing to scary and furious but not shy. Perhaps it was just left over nerves from music, I get it sometimes so I understand it easily.
I smiled and attempted to brush her hair out of her beautiful face but received a short, sharp slap to the hand. That's my girl...
“I'm not a freaking superstar.” She hissed at me, making me chuckle at her moody nature that I'd grown to love.
“Ok then, Musical Genius!” I cooed at her, completely aware of the fact I sounded like a freak but the smile on her lips just made it worth while, even if she was rolling her eyes at me. I didn't mind looking or acting like a fool around Georgiana, she was going to be my wife soonand at this moment in time I was proud of my girl.
I needed to make more effort with Georgiana, to make her smile and make her feel the same way about me as I feel about her.
“Sup homies!” I glared up at my cousin, trust her to interrupt me making a plan.
“What, Lissa?” I snapped at her, not feeling guilty even though it was illogical to be so angry with her.
She raised an eyebrow at me and turned to face Georgiana more, her smile reappearing. “Georgiana, honey, I would like to formally invite you to sit with me and the coolio people of this school rather that being sat with my moody ass cousin and his whores.”
I rolled my eyes at all of the girls around us that hissed at Lissa. She was more than right about them. I looked over at Georgiana, willing her not to go with my eyes but she ignored me and got up to walk away with Clarissa, ignoring me and not saying a word. Watching her walk away I felt the spot beside me go cold but it was okay because I'd see her at home and I'd make her see that I loved her.
Hera's P.O.V
It was all in order. I just needed to get hold of that stupid little horrid girl.
I straightened my back and walked through the filthy doors into the mortal school Georgiana attended and was met by a bored looking receptionist. She was almost painful to look at with her wrinkles and dull eyes.
“Can I help you?” She drawled, not looking at me but more the wall behind me, as if she saw through me.
“Yes.” I said in a clipped tone, grabbing her full attention as she raised an eyebrow at me. “I'm here to collect my step-daughter, Georgiana Livingston. She has a doctors appointment.”
The woman accepted my lie and made a phone call. While she was occupied I let my eyes wander about me, taking in the filth of the building. It wasn't a room a Goddess such as me should be in. It saddened me to see this mess from humans, back in ancient Greece they would be terrified of us coming to their home and so mess like this never appeared. Humans were forgetting us.
“Hello?”
I spun around and smiled at the red head in front of me, you could see the Demi-God aura around her, making her shine and stand out in this hideous place. “Ah, Georgiana, your father sent me to pick you up for your appointment.”
Confusion flashed across her delicate features before shock hit those blue and silver eyes. ~She looked me in the eyes and mouthed my name, I smiled and winked at her.
“Oh, ok.” She said confidently, smiling at me. “Could you let Alex Clark know that I wont be going home with him tonight, please?”
The dull receptionist nodded and the two of us left the building. Foolish Girl.
Alex's P.O.V
I sighed and started the car, ignoring Lissa's mindless babble. I'm not going to lie to myself, I miss Georgiana terribly and I know it's pathetic. I thought she would have told me if she had an appointment, or my mum would have.
“Lissa?” I said, “Did G or mum mention G having a doctors appointment?”
She glared at me for interrupting her, letting her know I wasn't listening in the first place. “No. And you really shouldn't call her G, you know she hates it, so why keep doing it. I mean, Georgiana's not even a hard name to say, even your thick, love centered brain can figure it out. Shall we try now? Geee--- ooor-geeee-aaaaa-nnn-aaaaaaa.. Your turn!”
I rolled my eyes at her stupidity. “I can say it dumb ass. You don't think she's in trouble though, do you?”
“She's fine, you bum.” She laughed at me. I glared at her and she became serious. “You really like her don't you, Alex?” she whispered over the hum of the engine.
I pulled into our drive and stopped so that she could get out before I put the car away. “Yeah.” I mumbled, “Yeah, I do.”
