24. Good news💗

I was waken up by the sound of a notification but I didn't open my eyes at first. Then it rang again for a second and I realized it wasn't my phone.

I immediately got up. I was sitting in bed. I looked in front of me then I looked to my side and saw Shawn sitting on desk's chair.

-you are still here?
-yeah sorry I have to text my manager and some other people before I go
- it's fine.. You know what I have to go to the hospital today do want to come with me
- uh..
- yeah sorry I shouldn't have ask we're not together
- no stop I was just wondering if I had something today. Yeah I'll come.
- what time is it?
- 10:30
- oh! We have to go!

I made a ponytail in my hair and quickly change my clothes while Shawn was eating a muffin.

-ok go! I said

We entered in Shawn's car and drove to the hospital. I explained to Shawn that I passed tests/therapy on Thursday and that the doctor would tell me the result.

We arrive at the hospital and waited in the waiting room for about five minutes until I got called in my doctor's office.
We sat in front of the doctor's desk and he looked at Shawn confused.

"Is that your brother?"
"No it's uh.. A friend" we both put on a fake smile to confirm.
"Ok well I have very good news, the therapy went really well and we can see by the tests that your are close to heal."

Shawn took my hand but I was to concentrate on what the doctor was saying to notice. The doctor continued:

"I want you to come every day next week and maybe another too, to continue the therapy and after we'll see if you healed"

I never thought the cancer would go away this fast. When the doctor told us we could go, I noticed Shawn was holding my hand, I took his hand off and we walked out of the hospital. We went in the car and I said:

"Why were you holding my hand?"

" I'm sorry I just was so happy for you, I let my emotions get in my way sorry"

"Don't be. I was just wondering."

He smiled.

We came back to my home. Shawn and I went in my room and he starting putting his things in his backpack.

-you're leaving?
- uh well I don't want your parents to be mad or something and anyways it's fine I'll return at my parents house.
- well you can stay in the basement I don't think they'll be mad
- I don't want to be rude Sara but your parents never really liked me
- no seriously you can stay.
- sure ?
- yeah.
- ok then but I'll sleep in the basement hahah.
- yeah but why did you came last night.
- I don't know, I was tired. Old habits I guess.
- yeah.. I guess.

Yeah.. So Shawn is staying at my house for an undefined amount of time. That's .. Interesting .. I guess.
