I was quickly walking to the Slytherin common room to see Draco. If you're asking yourself 'why is he quickly walking?' then allow me to explain. This boy, Cedric, has a crush on me, and every time I walk over the bridge, he seems to be right there.
I was almost back to to the castle when, you guessed it, Cedric stopped me. I sighed and tried to go around him, but he tightly grabbed me by the arm.
"Where are you going in such a hurry, Potter?" Cedric asked, smirking strangely. I gave a frustrated sigh and turned to face him.
"I'm going to meet my boyfriend, if you'll excuse me," I answered angrily, trying to get out of his tightening grip. His mouth dropped all of a sudden, and he let go of my arm.
"Who!?" He asked loudly. I rolled my eyes slightly.
"Draco Malfoy," I said with a sigh, attempting to pull my arm away from the taller boy. His face contorted into a look of disgust.
"Isn't he a prick!?" Cedric exclaimed, suprised. Fury rose up inside me.
"Its none of your business!" I told him. His eyebrows furrowed, and before I could react, he was yanking me roughly in the opposite direction.
"Stop! Let go of me!" I yelled, reaching into my bag for my wand.
"Shut up!" Cedric hissed, and snatched my wand away, tossing it into the grass. I struggled, but he was much bigger than I. I heard feet pounding across the bridge.
"Get off him!" Yelled a familiar voice.
"Draco!" I yelled, turned towards the running.
"Bloody hell," Cedric whispered anxiously and sped up. I realized where he was taking me...the forbidden forest.
"Draco!" I called again, pulling away from Cedric. Draco was gaining on us. I gritted my teeth and punched Cedric's arm. He gasped and smacked me. I turned in Draco's direction and gave a desperate look. When he realized what Cedric had just done, he pulled out his wand."Duck, Harry!" Draco yelled. I covered my head with my hand and leaned down. I felt Cedric jerk away from me. My heart was pounding with adrenaline. I was lying still on the ground, breathing heavily.
"Harry! Harry! Are you okay!?" Draco asked, running up and dropping to the ground next to me. I nodded as he pulled me into a hug. He pulled away and put his hand on my cheek.
"I'm sorry," Draco whispered, looking at my cheek sadly.
"Does it hurt?" he asked me. I shook my head.
"I've had worse things happen," I smiled. Draco pulled me into another tight hug, and he kissed my cheek.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"You don't have to thank me. I promised that I would protect you. Forever," Draco whispered back.
*Ten Years Later*
I'm still alive, so I guess my Dragon did a good job.
