Darling Part Twelve

Harry's POV
(After Christmas, day the kids go back to Hogwarts)

"Do you have your books?" Draco called through the house as he picked up one of Lilly's many suitcases.

"All in there, Dad," she answered.

"Wand, robes, books, clothes, cauldron, parchment, quills..." Scorpius named off his list, quietly checking what he had.

"This should've been done yesterday, guys!" I said, referring to the fact that they weren't packed completely.

"I'm sorry!" Lilly called, heaving a trunk out to the car. Scorpius closed the front door behind her, and then turned to face me.

"I'm so sorry for all the drama I created," he whispered. I engulfed my son in a hug.

"Don't worry about it. Just make sure you're happy," I told him. Scorpius pulled away, and nodded. Lilly raced in the door, and bounded up the stairs. She ran back down a few seconds later, clutching a small teddy bear in her arms.

"Everyone in the car! Now!" Draco yelled, sighing. Scorpius and Lilly climbed into the back seat.

"That means you, Potter," Draco said, smirking. 

"Kiss first," I said, standing in the door way.

"Get in the damn car," Draco laughed, pulling me outside. I laughed, and got in the passenger seat. The back seat was silent the whole way to the station. 

"Do we have to go?" Lilly asked sadly, getting out of the car and grabbing her trunk. 

"Afraid so," Draco said as Lilly handed him one of her three suitcases. Lilly sighed as we all walked to the platform.

"Do want us to walk through with you guys?" I asked the kids.

"Yes," They both said together. I smiled and we walked through to platform 9 and 3/4. 

"Okay, you guys need to hurry up and get a good seat," Draco said. 

"I love you," Lilly and Scorpius said together.

"Love you guys too," We answered. We all shared a hug. With that, they shuffled onto the train, and it left five minutes later. Lilly waved out the window, and Draco blew her a kiss.

"I always hate this part," I whispered to my husband. Draco sighed and wrapped his arm around me.

"Me too," he whispered back. I leaned my head on his shoulder. We turned to walk away, but I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and pulled Hermione into a hug.

"How are you guys?" Hermione asked us happily, grabbing Ron's hand. 

"Good! How are you?" Draco answered.

"Fine...just fine," Hermione said, going from happy to sad.

"Um Harry, Draco...we just wanted to apologize for how our son behaved. He was turned in by Albus recently, and we...we had no idea. We're so sorry that something like this happened. He was never one to break the rules, and I didn't believe it at first," Ron said.

"It worked itself out. Everything's okay as far as we know," I said. 

"How are Scorpius and Lilly doing?" Hermione asked us.

"They're doing great!" Draco told her. I always loved seeing Draco, Ron, and Hermione getting along.

"Do you want to come over for tea tomorrow?" I offered. The other couple nodded and thanked us. We said good bye, and Draco and I walked to the car.

"You can have that kiss now." Draco said. I smirked and grabbed his cheeks, pulling him into a passionate kiss.
