Harry's POV

I took the letters out of Scorpius's hand and started reading. Lilly was grabbing at the crumpled pieces of paper, and Draco pulled her back gently. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Go die in a hole, you pig."

"You're lower than a mudblood."

"You're the ugliest girl in the whole school."

"I bet August is cheating on you with a boy."

"Your brother is weak."

"I hope you fall off your broom."

My mouth dropped. I looked up at Draco, Lilly still trying to get the letters.

"What is it, Harry? What do they say?" he asked, confused. I gestured towards our room, and he let go of Lilly to follow me. I walked quickly to our room, tears beginning to spill over.

"Harry? What is it?" Draco asked shutting the door. He walked over to me as I sat on the bed. A choked back sob escaped my lips.

"What did they say, Harry!?" he asked, grabbing my shoulders. I shakily handed him the tattered letters. A horrified look spread across his face as he started reading. I covered my mouth with my hand as Draco slowly set down the letters. He pulled me in to a hug, and I clung desperately to his jacket.

A urgent knock sounded.

"Can I come in?" Scorpius called.

"Yes," Draco answered slowly. Scorpius burst through the door.

"Who do I need to kill!?" he nearly yelled.

"Scorpius, just stop! I can handle myself!" Lilly screamed, running over to the door. I sighed and got up, wiping my eyes.

"Scorpius, we need to talk to your sister. If you could please-" I was cut off by Scorpius stomping down the stairs. A few seconds later, the front door slammed shut.

"Lilly, why didn't you tell us?" Draco asked. Tears started crawling down her cheeks. I stood up and pulled her into a hug.

"I thought I was stronger than I am. I thought I could just, like, not listen," Lilly answered. Draco walked up to us.

"I'm sorry this is happening to you," he said. Lilly nodded, still crying.

"Can I go find Scorpius now?" she asked. I nodded. Lilly slowly walked downstairs. Draco hugged me, and a lump formed in my throat.

"Don't cry, Darling. We'll figure this out, don't worry," Draco confirmed, running his hand through my messy hair. He didn't want me to realize, but I knew he was crying as well.
