Harry's POV

A while later, I called everyone down for dinner. A stampede of feet came down the stairs, along with groups of giggles. I smiled, and took my seat. The two couples sat next to each other, and Draco started a conversation.

"So, do you guys hang out at school?" he asked. I quietly laughed at how awkward he was being. He glanced up at me as Lilly began speaking, and I winked jokingly.

"Like, as a group of friends?" Lilly answered, slightly confused, most likely because she wasn't really paying attention. Draco nodded with a sigh.

"Yeah," said Scorpius. Draco nodded. I could literally see him cursing himself for trying to start a conversation.

"What house are you boys in?" I asked Albus and August.

"Slytherin," said Albus. I smiled and nodded. I could tell Draco was feeling a bit emotional about the kids having dates. He wasn't doing it on purpose, but he was watching both boys like a hawk. August blushed slightly, and looked down. Albus, however, noticed, and smiled brightly.

"Mr. Malfoy, I love your son. I'm not going to hurt him. Don't worry," he explained. Draco's eyebrows lifted slightly, and he nodded, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. I smiled at Albus. We continued to eat, and soon enough, we were done.

"Do you need help with the dishes?" August asked me. I smiled.

"No, I've got it. Thank you, though," I told him. He nodded, and continued upstairs with everyone else.

I smiled slightly, and went over to Draco. He instantly wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close. I felt something land in my hair, and I looked up. Tears. Tears were pouring down Draco's face.

"What's wrong!?" I asked quickly, putting my hands on his cheeks.

"They're growing up," he said quietly between sobs. I smiled sadly, knowing he was right.

"I know, darling," I told him, tears now welling up in my eyes too.
