Chapter sixteen

Maya's POV

The rest of the gang met us down in the basement, "She has to be somewhere down here." Ty whispered.

All of a sudden we heard whimpering from down the hall.

"Move in!" I yell.

We all quickly run down the hallway, we arrived at a closed door at the end.

"Hello?!" Scott yells, we then hear more muffled screaming.

"Back up," I mumble, I walk as far back as I can and run towards the door shoving it in with my shoulder.

The door came crashing down onto the floor, I back up from the mess and rub my shoulder. I look down to see the ground drowning in a pool a blood, I follow the blood and look up to see a girl in her undergarments with tape around her mouth. She was chained up from the ceiling, she had bruises, gashes, scars, dried and fresh blood all over her body.

"Oh my god.." I mumble covering my mouth.

"Amelia!" Emma gasps running towards her.

The rest of the gang had teary eyes, and shock that they really found her.

Emma ran to her and ripped the tape from her mouth.

"E-Emma?" Amelia whispered in a scratchy tone, "Is that really you?" She said with wide eyes.

"Jackson! We found her." Scott yelled through the walkie.

"Yes, hey," Emma said with tears in her eyes.

Emma broke the chain off making Amelia fall to the ground crying out in pain.

"We need to get her out now!" Emma yelled.

"Here, she can borrow my jacket" I offered, taking it off and giving it to Emma.

Emma placed it around Amelia, "I got her." Aaron announced. He walked over to Amelia and picked her up bridal style.

Everyone kept staring at Amelia while we were in the car in shock. Amelia had blacked out 10 minutes ago and we were on the way to the hospital.

"I can't believe we found her," Ty mumbled holding her hand.

"Yeah." Lilly sighed.

(Next day- Amelia is in the hospital recovering)

Jackson's POV

"You think we should tell Bud now?" I ask Maya as I caress her cheek.

"Yeah.." she yawns turning her head towards me from her pillow. "It's been a day now." She continues.

"You know." She goes to say, "You're a good guy. Even for a gang leader." She giggles.

I feel so guilty from a night ago, I know I pushed Lizzie away and it wasn't my fault, but I still feel responsible for it.

"Thanks," I said pushing myself up against our headboard.

She then straddles me, "I love you, you know that right?" She whispers, placing her nose on mine.

God, she's so beautiful 

"Yes," I responded smiling.

"Good." She then leans down kissing me, I kiss back and place my hands on her waist.

I flip her over so I'm on top, I continue kissing her hungrily. I then go to take my shirt off, I break the kiss for a second and Maya whines. I then go back to kiss her, I trail my kisses down her neck but then she gasps pushing me off.
