Chapter seventeen

(Back at the house, so you don't get confused)

Maya's POV

"So who was it." I spit, throwing my leather jacket onto the bed.

"Maya I don't want you to get mad," Jackson whispers, running his hand through his messy brown hair.

"I'm already fucking mad Jackson!" I yelled, walking up to him.

He kept playing with his black watch on his wrist, with his head looking down.

"Will you stop!" I growl, whacking his hand from his watch, "Just tell me!" I continue, crossing my arms.

Jackson took a long pause before speaking, "You remember when we went to find Amelia."

"Yeah.." I trailed off.

"Well when Lizzie and I were on the roof, she kept flirting with me... and before I even met you she's also seemed to have a 'thing' for me." He then paused going to grab my hands,
"She kissed me and gave me a hickey... but I swear to you that I pushed her off and yelled at her for it. She said she thought I liked her because I always paired up with her for missions, but I love you too much to make a stupid mistake like that... I'm not the same guy I used to be." He finished with almost teary eyes.

I stood there in shock, I knew I shouldn't have trusted Lizzie when it came to Jackson. This has always happened. In high school and Middle school, she always took my crushes or boyfriend's and of course they'd pick her because she'd basically hook up with anyone.

"Maya. Please say something." Jackson whispers squeezing both my hands gently.

I quickly snap out of it, I yank my hands from his. I slowly back up walking out of the room.

I rush down the hallway and down the stairs near the bar. I saw exactly who I wanted to see. Lizzie, Scott, Ty, Lilly, and Madison were at the bar chatting and laughing.

I walked up to the bar filled with anger. My presence seemed to interrupt them because all the conversations stopped. Aaron and Emma had just entered the room, and of course, Emma was eating popcorn.

I punched Lizzie squared in the mouth, taking everyone by surprise. She held up her hands to her mouth. Blood spilled all over her, as some covered my fists.

"What the fuck Maya!" Ty shouted as he jumped up from the table. While everyone else was startled.

"What the hell?!" Lizzie exclaimed looking up.

"Really?! So you're just going to kiss my boyfriend and pretend to be my 'Best friend' still!" I rage. "I didn't!" She denied, with confusion on her face.

I couldn't take it anymore, I tackled her to the floor and began to punch her. She kept screaming and crying, trying to fight back.

"Maya!!" I heard someone yell from behind me, but I kept attacking her. I kept punching and pulling her hair.

Lizzie tried reaching her hands up to attack me until I started choking her, her arms fell down as she tried to pry my hands from her neck.

I felt strong arms wrapping around me trying to pull me back.

I felt her struggling from underneath me while she kept gasping for air. Someone finally ripped me from her, their arms were wrapped around my stomach as they kept pulling me back, but I kept fighting in their arms.

"Maya stop." I heard him whisper in my ear. It was Aaron.

"Aaron let me go!!" I scream and kick.

I saw Jackson run down the steps in shock, Aaron quickly passed me to him. Jackson wrapped his arm firmly around my waist.

Everyone else was still in shock and confusion.
