Luke and I were sentenced to two weeks of staying after school to help out in the library. There couldn't have been a more boring punishment and the fact that I had to work with Luke made it even worse.

As soon as I was out of the principals office, I texted Michael, who told me that he had been waiting for me outside the school and I started hurrying towards the door, when I suddenly heard someone call my name.

I turned around to see Luke walking up to me.

"Um, I guess I owe you an apology. I shouldn't have said that I should have let you drown. I'm glad I was there to help you and I'm also sorry for acting the way I do, I just not good at socializing, I'm not a people's person. I'm very awkward in fact and I just really want to apologize for my behaviour."

I was slightly shocked, I had never heard Luke talk that much before and I found it really nice that he was apologizing to me if I was honest, so I just smiled at him and said:"Let's start all over again. I'm Bella"

Luke shook my extended hand and said:"I thought your name was Gabriella?!"

"I'm surprised that you even know my name" I laughed "but that's true, Bella is my nickname and I prefer being called Bella"

Luke chuckled slightly and said:"Okay, nice to meet you Bella. I'm Luke"

I laughed a bit, then I told him that I had to get going since Michael was waiting for me and turned around to head to the door.

"What the hell took so long, I thought you were on the way 10 minutes ago."

I laughed and hit my best friend playfully, then I simply shrugged and said:"I guess Luke isn't even that bad of a guy."

Now I completely confused Michael. He tugged at his hair in frustration and said:"Didn't you just freaking slap him in the lunch room?"

"Yes, Mikey, I did"

Michael shook his head in confusion and on our way towards his car, I told him everything that happened in the lunch room, the principals office and in the hallway later.

Michael was pretty surprised that Luke apologized to me, but he warned me that I shouldn't become friends with him because he surely wouldn't be up for hanging out with that strange kid, as he said.

I laughed and hit Michael softly, as If me and Luke would ever become friends.

While Michael drove me home, he told me, that he had been talking to the dark haired guy, who was apparently a friend of Luke for the rest of lunch break.

Michael said that the guy who was named Calum seemed pretty cool and Michael wondered why someone like him would be friends with Luke.

Michael dropped me off at home and drove to the flat he shared with his parents, which was pretty much just down the street.

As soon as I was home, I ran up the stairs and let myself fall onto my bed. Today had been such a strange day, but luckily it was finally Friday which meant two days without having to face all these feaks from school.

Well, almost. Tonight was a party at Veronica's house and Michael and I were both invited, because Mike and she were some kind of friends, even though they never really talked.

I wasn't really into partying, but I agreed on coming along beacause of two reasons. Firstly, for Michael's sake, he was actually going to sing a few songs because he was just an awesome singer and Veronica asked him to. Michael was really excited about this, he had been singing in a few little pubs before, but his nerves were always close to killing him before singing.
